Always good for a long time wrestler to re-invent themselves. We know what he can do in the ring, even at his age, but changing a persona works a lot in extending a career that might go stale.

Is it safe for him to change gimmicks like that? You know, Jushin Liger is owned by Go Nagi, right? Can he do that without permission of Go Nagi's holding company?
Still, it is not like another person can't step in and become Jushin Thunder Liger. Lord knows how many Tiger Mask they are in real life.

Jushin Thunder liger is on a level of fame that is rare.. he commands a lot of respect in the industry..
This is his final run.. he can do almost anything he wants.. he didn’t even ask for permission when doing the match with Tyler breeze in nxt he didn’t need it..

It’s not really a re invention since he has wrestled as Kishin Liger only twice before his recent match. Once against The Great Muta in like the 90s and another time in a tag match. It’s like Finn Balor’s Demon side except he truest is so rare and a one in a lifetime thing. Seeing him end his career as a demon would be cool but ultimately a good way to end his career is if he faces someone who is crazy enough to at last Kishin and actually scare his demon form and push him back into his Jushin form. And only then will Jushin and Kishin be at peace and put on one last match will they win as a team and not as two seperate entities.

This is only the 4th time in Liger's history that Kishin Liger has been brought out and I love it

Didn't know about Kishin before this, but it's really cool. Especially since this form of Liger is used so sparingly.
Maybe we can get an Oni version of Grand Manga in MMW as a tribute?

I guess I fell behind on some knowledge because I had no idea he had used this gimmick before. Then again, I haven't nearly kept up with as much over the last few years, but only in relativity to how much content there has been by so many wrestling companies, from the indies up to the big corporations. I still watch a lot of content, current and classic, but there isn't enough time in the day to watch, or even read about, it all, especially when I enjoy seeing content from the most irrelevant indie promotions now as well.
