Been thinking a bit on who the group's "Exalted One" is. Could be Brodie Lee or Matt Hardy like everyone thinks. But then the thought hit me. What if all that is just them swerving the fans? What if TEO is ALREADY IN AEW? I personally have two possible candidates the second of which might get me tarred and feathered, but you only live once. LOL 😁 1. Christopher Daniels: Or more precisely, his Fallen Angel persona. I see it as a split personality type thing with the Angel trying to get Daniels to "give in" to the DO's control.
2. Marko Stunt: ~dodges flying debris~ I know, I know. "He's over so much with the fans! There's no way they'll do it!" Just listen to me for a sec. This could be a way to really give Marko a HUGE push and put him over as a manipulator of magnificent bastard proportions. A while back I read a story that said he let all the negative comments about his size put him in a dark place until he pulled himself out of it. But what if he actually(kayfabe) embraced it instead and formed the DO behind the scenes? It could end up drawing NUCLEAR levels of heat if done right. Especially if he waits until a Trios tag match against the DO to do it. Hell, he could even bring Luchasaurus with him. Change his look from green to all black like Komodo's alt in MMW.
So what do you guys think? Who do you think TEO could be? Aside from Lee or Hardy that is. From inside the company. Looking forward to your guy's opinions.

The safe money would be on Daniels or Hardy. I know they originally planned on it being Marty Scurll, but that didn't pan out when he took the new deal with ROH. Although, if a working relationship between the promotions is reached, anything is possible. I can't imagine Luke Harper/Brodie Lee in this role.

Brodie's a badass, but I see him in more of a support role in that group. Though he can give some epic staredowns with eyes of his. They always look empty to me. Kinda gives me the willies. Lol

I'm not really a big fan of the dark order. Cool concept & all but something's just off so I'm torn on Matt being the exalted one. On one hand it could make the dark order interesting, on the other it could taint Matt's AEW debut

Personally I think they've done a good job re-building the Dark Order after their, to put it bluntly, complete flop of a beginning (much like Butcher, Bunny & Blade).
The vignettes are brilliant.
Daniels was my first thought of who the big boss is, then there's the whole situation with Matt Hardy.
My other thought was it was one of the Elite or Rhodes family...Dustin, but he's got a good thing going off at the mo.
