We may have talked about this in another thread already but I think it deserves a thread of its own. Those of you who, like me, grew up without an actual toy ring for your wrestlers what'd you use? Personally I used a pillow, built one out of Lego, or just used my imagination except the brief 2 days I had an actual toy ring when I was 7.

An upside down ice cream tub. Rectangular shaped. That was my ring when I had my first 4 Hasbro figures. Beefcake and Ax vs Rick Rude & Jake Roberts in tag matches over and over and over again. Boy the ratings must have been terrible. Then came along Christmas with a big talent infusion plus the WCW Galoob ring and the federation was up and running.

I usually had a ring but when I didn't I would just play on my bed. I'd use milk crates for a cage and N64 cartridges as tables. I'd also color on my figures with red marker for blood

When I ran my figure fed back in the early 90’s I documented the results of my PPVS and I even made posters/programmes. I think I still have these in my parents attic I will try dig them out next time I’m over there

I had the WWF Ring back in the 80s...but none of the figures: Before that I used an old scrabble board, glued suction-cup darts to the corners and string. The "rope" action I had to use the old imagination on!

I wanted the shield so bad as a kid but by the time those came out I think I'd already stopped watching wrestling & stopped playing with toys
