At the present time, for me, it makes more sense for Cesaro to head to Japan first.

What boggles my mind is they let Cesaro go but they're holding Ali hostage essentially

At the present time, for me, it makes more sense for Cesaro to head to Japan first. That is quite infeasible right now. The only foreigners who are able to work in Japan are those who already had work visas before the pandemic. It is anyone’s guess as to when Japan will open up again for foreigners in non-essential industries. I have little doubt that he will show up in AEW based on the friendships he has with people already in the company. Otherwise he probably just would have signed another short-term deal with WWE. If AEW was willing to scoop up Keith Lee right away, you can bet your ass Claudio will be All Elite very soon. What boggles my mind is they let Cesaro go but they're holding Ali hostage essentially They didn’t let him go. His contract expired and he chose to walk. Nothing they can do about that. Ali is believed to be locked up for another couple of years. In a time when they are looking to cut costs anywhere they can, it does seem bizarre. Even when you consider he probably has an inexpensive contract, is he really worth that much more to someone else that they’d rather just pay him to sit at home? More releases after WrestleMania are probably inevitable and I would expect him to go whenever that next batch of cuts is made, though.

Cesaro/Claudio was my guy. With him leaving WWE my interest in their company has diminished even further.

At the present time, for me, it makes more sense for Cesaro to head to Japan first. I was thinking since he’s already in the US he could do a quick tour of dream matches in AEW before heading overseas, since Japan is still fairly strict on their Covid restrictions, especially compared to where AEW is touring.

Amidst allegations of abuse from Kimber Lee Nash from MSK got released Not trying to pick sided but it feels weird that they just released him based off accusations (although I have seen the photos of Kimber Lee so there’s that but also Wes Lee’s wife said Cater has been living with them and is willing to defend him so there’s that too) but Riddle and Devlin are still here (and if I remember correctly Devlin was CW champion)

"not nice Germans" salute out of nowhere

Am I a bad person because I'm glad he got released, regardless of the reason? There's just something about the guy that I never liked. I don't really like either of MSK, but Wes Lee always seemed less obnoxious to me.

WWE are really persistent in fumbling the bag with every Japanese wrestler they sign.

Can't say that I'm surprised. I honestly wouldn't be shocked to hear that Finn Balor and Drew Gulak were let go at this point.
