Star Wars: The Clone Wars review

In honor of Star Wars day, I started re-watching Clone Wars. I'm going to review each episode here.
S1E1 Ambush: Yoda and some clones destroy some droids. Yoda convinces Toydaria to join the Republic. Yoda savagely wrecks Ventress. 
S1E2 Rising Malevolence: The Malevolence is General Grievous's new superweapon/ship. Grievous destroys Republic ships. Anakin and Ahsoka save Jedi Master Plo Koon from dying in space.
S1E3 Shadow of Malevolence: Anakin, Ahsoka, and Plo Koon lead an attack on the Malevolence. They disable the giant ion cannon before Grievous can destroy a medical base.
S1E4 Destroy Malevolence: Padme is captured by General Grievous. Anakin and Obi-Wan save her and make the Malevolence crash into a moon. Grievous escapes however.
S1E5 Rookies: A republic base on Rishi's moon is captured by droids. Captain Rex and Commander Cody lead three rookie clones (Fives, Hevy, and Echo) on a mission to destroy the base so the Republic is warned of the CIS attack. Hevy sacrifices himself to complete the mission. RIP Hevy.
S1E6 Downfall of a Droid: R2D2 gets captured by the Seperatists in a space battle. Anakin gets a new droid, but vows to find R2D2
S1E7 Duel of the Droids: R2D2 is being held at a seperatist spy base. Anakin, Rex, and Ahsoka go to destroy the base and get R2D2. Anakin's new droid turns out to be a Separatist spy droid. R2D2 and the spy droid have an epic duel in the exploding wreckage of the spy base. Anakin saves R2D2 from the wreckage.
S1E8 Bombad Jedi: FFS why is Jar Jar here? get tf off my screen. 0/10 I hate Jar Jar so fn much. oh yeah Nute Gunray gets captured.
S1E9 Cloak of Darkness: Nute Gunray is being transported, and guarded by Jedi Master Luminara and Ahsoka. He escapes with help from Ventress and a rogue republic guard.
S1E10 Lair of Grievous: Jedi Master Kit Fisto and his former apprentice Nahdar Vebb investigate a lead on Nute Gunray's whereabouts. However, it is a trap and Nahdar is killed. Kit Fisto escapes.
S1E11 Dooku Captured. Dooku escapes Anakin and Obi-Wan. He is captured by space pirates who plan to sell him to the highest bidder. Anakin and Obi-Wan make sure Dooku is actually captured. Also Russian dancing aliens.
I'll post more when I feel like it.

S1E12 The Gungan General: I can't be bothered with another jar jar episode. Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Dooku have to work together to escape the space pirates
S1E13 Jedi Crash: Anakin, Rex, and Ahsoka help save Jedi Master Aayla Secura from a republic capital ship that got gunned down. Anakin is badly wounded and they crash land on a nearby planet. They get help from the local populace. Also Aayla Secura is bae <3

S1E14 Defenders of Peace: Anakin, Rex, Ahsoka, and Aayla help the native Lurmens defend their village from a new seperatist weapon called the defoliator, which destroys only organic matter. Also I think now is a good time to inform all of you who my favorite jedi are. I have three. Obi-Wan for his mastery of the high ground, Kit Fisto for being a lad in general, and Aayla Secura because she's hot af.
S1E15 Trespass: Anakin, Rex, and Obi-Wan try to intermediate negotiations between the Pantorans of Pantora and the Talz of Orto Plutonia. A short battle ensues, during which the chairman of Pantora dies. The senator of Pantora negotiates peace between the two planets.
S1E16 The Hidden Enemy: Rex and Cody try to find a traitor in their ranks while Anakin and Obi-Wan fight Ventress. The traitor turns out to be clone sergeant Slick, who is caught by Rex and Cody.

K I finished Season 1 so here are the rest of the episodes.
S1E17 Blue Shadow Virus: Well, Jar Jar is in this one unfortunately. Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex and Obi-Wan have to stop a mad scientist from releasing a deadly virus on Naboo. They capture him.
S1E18 Mystery of a Thousand Moons: The Blue Shadow Virus is released in the mad scientist's bunker, which Padme, Rex, and Ahsoka are still in. Anakin and Obi-Wan have to find the antidote on the world Iago. However, the world is protected by an lazer field which allows entry but stops escape. Anakin and Obi-Wan manage to escape and free Iago, as well as saving the infected.
S1E19 Storm Over Ryloth: Ahsoka commands her first space battle as Anakin takes out a seperatist battleship by ramming it with a different battleship.
S1E20 Innocents of Ryloth: Obi-Wan and Cody have to take out cannons that are buffered by a line of Twi'lek slaves. Meanwhile, clones Waxer and Boil find a young Twi'lek girl who helps them flank and destroy the cannons as well as free the slaves.
S1E21 Liberty on Ryloth: Jedi Master Mace Windu teams up with revolutionary Cham Syndulla to fully liberate Ryloth. They also capture Wat Tambor, foreman of the Techno Union.
S1E22 Hostage Crisis: Bounty hunters Cad Bane, Aurra Sing, and others take several republic senators hostage, as well as Anakin. They negotiate the release of gangster Ziro the Hutt and escape unscathed.
Overall, my favorite episodes were S1E1, S1E5, S1E13, S1E14, S1E20, and S1E22. My least favorite were the Jar Jar ones.

S1 never really had a point. I mean that it didnt have a connecting story. But what do I know, I only watched the first ten episodes

There were a few short story arcs like the malevolence episodes and the ryloth episodes but yeah mostly just short one off adventures

Ok I finally started season 2.
S2E1 Holocron Heist: Cad Bane robs the Jedi temple and steals a holocron. This man is so incredibly good at his job it amazes me.
S2E2 Cargo of Doom: Cad Bane steals the Kyber crystal from a jedi. He beats Ahsoka in a fight and forces Anakin to open the holocron for him.
