I'm in year 12 now. I have every event card, every match type, a huge main event roster, and 3 legends. I have run just about every match combination, rivalry, event, type, etc. I've hit 4.5* enough times to release a 3 disk DVD set. Not once have I gotten 5*. Anybody got any 5* stories? Advice?

It's likely just the RNG. I find any match combination between Enyu, Shaolin Hero or Quade will get 5 about 30% of the time.

I'm in year 14 with a way less advanced roster than you by the sound of it, and I've hit 4.5 stars several times with Glitter Guard vs. Hard Way, all midcarders. One of those times wasn't even a special match, and I kicked myself afterward. An exploding ring may have pushed it to five stars.
Anyway, I would suggest trying tag matches between rival factions. They give you a lot of bonuses and tend to have high star ratings, even at midcard level.

On a week 3 show in San Juan, Lion Hero defeated Prince Sharif in a straight up wrestling match. No titles on the line. No crazy stipulations. Just pure wrestling for wrestling's sake. It was awarded 5* on the Wrestle Watch Website (W3) by THE Ryan Regret!
