If you promote or demote a card, does the promotion or demotion also apply to the foil version of the card? If I promote then get the foil at some other time, is the fool's push +3 of the base card or the promoted card? Are there any other questions about this that in not thinking of? Spending a token is serious business, so I'd like as much info as possible beforehand.

I don't believe that the +push affects a foil. I have no proof but let me explain why. When you get a foil it's based on the unbuffed stats of a card +3 (I think). I have not seen a foil that goes up based on other gained stat points. To me that suggests the answer is no.

So that means we're in "trial and error" territory until one of us does it.

I buffed my non-foil Arizona Chance's push. The non-foil has a push of 16, and the foil has a push of 13. Compare that to yours.

Is there any advantage to demoting a wrestler?

Is there any advantage to demoting a wrestler? If they ever implement a "cost per match" based on the wrestler's "level", there might be...

Adjusting push does not apply to the foil/non-foil version of your wrestler, only the directly affected card. I increased the push for foil Chet Skye, giving me an upper midcard shawn michaels in the 80s. I see no benefit or reason to demote a wrestler... now if the game were changed so that you would get a floating token for decreasing a wrestler's push that would make things interesting

Yeah I still don’t get why you would demote a wrestler and why it would actually cost money?
I guess if you have someone who seems unbeatable or you hate and need them to lose...it could be useful.
There was a point where it seemed like Dr. B would never lose.

The only reason to demote a wrestler is to meet requirements for a show. Many shows require for the first match that both wrestlers need to be openers or worse, while the third match requires both wrestlers to be midcard wrestlers.
There is also a ladies only match, but you can't use a token to perform a Jusinkyo curse upon the target wrestler. Still waiting for a Mary B (so we can have an evil I intergender tag team called Buddy Bloody Mary Mix between her and Doctor B.)
Um, get it. There us a Bloody Mary mix called Mr & Ms T brand bloody mary mix.
