Have been playing the 80s mania wrestling for a long time on ios. The 90s version recently got relased on ios and i immediately downloaded it and trasnfered all my cards and stuff. However it seems like its impossible to enjoy the 90s extreme version without having to buy coins. In the 80s mania version purchasing mr fantasy gave u 1k gold after every show, however in the 90s version, he only gives 500 gold afer every show. Although the cost of getting him is lower, in the long run he is literally half as effective as he was in the 80s version. Also less gold from shows now even if its house full. And the prices of some midcarders have increased to 25k from 10k becuase of the addition of the upper midcarder bracket. So while in the 80s game u could play without having to buy coins, and still get almost all your favourite superstars if you just purchased cleverly in the shop, but it seems impossible to buy a single maineventer or legendery superstar in the 90s version without buying or saving coin for a few years.

Yes, the in-game economy seems to have changed. But it shouldn't take all that long to save up 25k for an Upper Midcard guy. Personally, I've never saved up 100k to buy a Main Eventer; I always had to save end-of-year tokens. I don't think the in-game economics have changed so much that results in putting Main Event talent out of reach.

The thing is that if you "speedaddle" through a game year just for the token, then you're not really "playing" the game per se (and probably setting yourself up for a repetitive motion injury). I mean I've done it once or twice and it literally takes a little over 15 minutes to go through a year.
I missed the 1000 dollar bonus too but after playing enough I realized that it makes you put more thought into your cards since with the bonus you could basically just book whomever you wanted and pick the cheapest venue and get 1000 for your troubles...which ends up being a lil bit munchkin!

I know this may not be exactly what you want to hear, but even a $5 investment in tokens helps the company...which in turn helps us get more and more content. I know it's hard to look at it like that and not everyone can or wants to pay to play. That's perfectly ok, and I hope you can find a way to enjoy it in any way that's best for you. But if you can please consider what even a small investment can do for us. I am not employed by or paid to say this.

This game offers a lot of content for free and they don't even have "exclusive paid" content which is awesome. And if you're on the thrifty side of things you can always reward program to earn store credits., I use Google Rewards to earn a few bits here and there and use those credits to but credits for this game to help along the way. But once I've got a little spare cash I'm definitely spring out for the 9.99 token pack cos that will help get those 200K cards quicker!

While i agree with ur point, the problem is i would pay if i had a credit card, but appstore doesnt allow domestic debit cards. But the point is, there should be other ways with which people like me dont have to pay but still can make money for the developers and get extra tokens. For example, many games have viewing ad system, maybe make 5 ads available each day, and viewing 100 - 200 ads will give u a token or something of that sort. Just a suggestion.

Maybe they could do a contest where participants can design a character for the game. The Top 3 entries get tokens as prizes and the overall winner gets their character in the game.

Have you looked into buying a Google Play card? How can i do that? Does it accept domestic debit cards? It kinda does, indirectly. Here in the United States, you can go to a Wallgreen's, a super market, or a convinous store or such and buy a Google Play card with money (many places allow Debit Cards also, but not Credit Cards to buy them instead of cash).

Here is a hint. If you start in 1980 or 1985 and survive till the 1990, Mister Fantasy will take over your broadcast and will give you $500 per show.
