Has anyone ever come close to these achievements on modern or 80s mania? I've had two 4* p4vs and that's it.
I think if I ran the smaller cards they would be easier to attain. Any tips from anyone?

I'm grinding a non-canon playthrough at the moment - just trying to generate as much money as possible and not booking storylines with any real thought behind them. The 4* challenge is delicately poised - I've had three in a row, January to March. Got lucky on the last one as I messed up my Tag Title contender match and didn't have my preferred challengers go over. Definitely take your own advice and book smaller cards. If you really want to go for it, ignore the tournaments for a whole year and just book the regular PPVs as they're so much easier to control and predict. Try and fill them with a good selection of your top guys and girls, but don't sacrifice match ups that will give you a feud bonus for one that's just some random main eventers against each other. For example, if a PPV has a non-title Tag match on it, use two decent rated tag teams (or, even better, couples) instead of booking four main event characters who have high draw but no feud or faction alignment. Feud bonuses outweigh star power alone, and should help you score a better rating. Also, keep the skit and mic spots down to one or two participants max and use any main eventers you haven't already booked in a match. I'll basically just use Dramatic Promo and the I Challenge You mic spot as they're free and limit my participants to three in total.

Done on both. Oddly enough it was easier on Modern than it was on 80's. For 80's mania; holofoils were the only way I could average 4* consistently; both in the 80's and the 90's sections. As far as Modern is concerned, the easier way is to select the first PPV option, because Tag Team Invitational, Cruiserweight Cup, and Tournament of Queens are really difficult to average 4 stars. They're not impossible, but are definitely not consistent.
I always go for factions feuds if possible, and everyone is lined up alignment-wise for those feuds. Examples, The VIPs and Imperial Dynasty are tweeners, Strike Team is Pure Evil with Southern Tropic being Pure Good, and Blue Steel is Honorable while Underworld is Dirty.
As far as what I book. Amari Fang and Black Plague are Cruiserweight Title. Hatchetmen, Mindbenders, and Neo-Knights are Tag Title. Queen Sheba, Reba, and Mother Mercy are the Women's Title. Gridiron, King Solomon, Xeno, and Black Plague are TV Title. Emperor Enyu, Zeta Quade, Lord Evermore and Richie Billions are World Champion. Slashmaster in "Creepy Vignette", Black Plague in "Dramatic Promo" are great for skits. And Emperor Enyu, Mark Caliber, Richie Billions, and GQ have all been great for Mic Spots.
I know it seems like a lot, but once you hit the challenge once, it becomes easier to average 4* across the board.
Now Rags to Riches. I don't think I'll ever be willing to invest that much time to wrestlers I'll never use.
Hope that helped.

For the 4* Week Four, do you need 4* on every P4V in a single year? I just got my first 4* P4V (Absolute MAYhem) and noticed the counter for the achievement didn't go up.
If it needs to be all in the same year, I'm not getting this achievement anytime soon. I would need to upgrade a lot of wrestlers and increase my fed's overall skill level first.

It has to be 12 consecutive months, so it can be July untill June. At least that's what it was in 80s. It's a royal pain to get that achievement, so I'm not going to try in MM.
Tip for getting Starrcade: Take the shortest card and fill it with the biggest names you have. Make sure they are in feuding factions. Load up your segments with flavor cards like the Pipebomb.

I think it must be January to December then. Otherwise, I'd be at 1/12.
I don't think I'm going to try for it. I figure eventually my roster will be good enough that it happens naturally.

Does anyone have any insight into this? I've now gone from July of Year 8 through July of Year 9 with **** PPV's. My counter for the challenge is 6/12. Does it have to all be in the same year? Even if that is the case, shouldn't my counter be at 7/12 or does the counter not go up until the year or the streak ends?

I've never got anywhere close in MMW, but the similar achievement in 80s i got from 12 straight months starting from a February, so wasn't needed to be in a single calendar year there. Sorry, this doesn't help much but I would have thought it would be similar in MMW too.

I noticed once that the counter went up only when I got a 4.5 star show, not a 4 star show. So I think it's bugged, or was at the time.
