I don't get how im the laughing stock of gimmicks while Shock had like 6/7 of them and all of them were very similar to the last and were in an even shorter space of time.

yeh crow Shock is gonna last for quite a bit tho I've been watchin lots of crow Sting to see what to do so in The Niz's next match I'll hit him with Deathshock am I tecnicaly a free agent in kayfabe but I think in about August I'll have my first match with either Uran or Niz

As for the tag team, its more of an "unholy alliance". We'll go for the tag titles after the feud with Manhattan Mauler, If you want, you can feud with Winston since Niz and I are occupied and he has nothing to do. |

I honestly think me and Ginzu are taking the tag team title. Then again, it is all by popular vote. So even if we don't get it, we will probably be a number one or two contender. Time will only tell.

List of anime things Stanley the Weeb would say when commentary on a match, and there meaning.
"Get into the ring Shinji!": From Neon Genises Evangelion. Someone is spending too much time outside the ring risking a ring out.
"A Jusinkyo tag has been made." From Ranma 1/2. A tag has been made really fast.
"Time for Neo Tokyo to EXPLODE!" From Akira. Someone is posing and singling the time to use his finishing move.
"Looks like a Stand off is happening." From Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Both wrestlers are just standing there flexing and/or poseing. Something is going to happen soon.
"He must of taken a Senzu Bean." From Dragonball Z. The wrestler suddenly made a quick recovery.
"He's acting like a M66." From Black Magic M66. Wrestler is no selling his opponent's maneuvers.
"He's acting like Hyate." From Exele Saga. A wrestler is overselling his opponent's maneuvers.
"He's just Mooning right now." From Sailor Moon. Any time a wrestler stops to talk trash in the middle of the match. Based on the facing the enimie speech Sailor Moon usually does at the beginning of every battle.
"(Name of wrestler) is just Tuxedo Masking down to the ring." From Sailor Moon. A wrestler is interfering in a match. Usually a babyface.
"It's over 8000!" From DragonBall Z. Any maneuver which litterly shakes the ring.
"A Kodachi maneuver." From Ranma 1/2. Someone is standing on the top ropes. Refers to the Ranma vs Kodachi Kuno rhythm gymnastics battle, which left only the ropes and turnbuckle available.

what's everyone's view on the Shock gimmick It is better to be original. Or at least be generic. Even if your a mark, don't copy an existing character. You'll only disappoint yourself and quickly change gimmicks again. The best bet to salvage the gimmick is to put a new spin in it. Combine the "Crow Sting" with something else to make it "new". Take Stanley the Weeb. There is no 100% anime fan wrestler out there, willing to look silly to wear their fandom on their sleeves. Ok, The New Day did that DBZ entrance once, cosplaying as Saijins. Take Masked Man. He is a masked bruit who bairly talks, not because he can't, but because he doesn't want to communicate in any way but pain. Moral of the story is try to find a part of yourself and inject it into the character. You'll have more fun that way. |
