There’s a lot in wrestling right now that sucks, but this thread is about what they’ve have gotten right. No tribalism, no “this company is better”. Just appreciation for what’s gone well.
1. Championships are once again treated like a big deal. McIntyre, Moxley, Naito and Aldis have been absolutely excellent world champions. They all treat their title as if it’s the most important thing in the world, and they elevate the belt at the same time the belt elevates them. I can’t think of a time when we’ve had a better set of world champs.
2. Humor has been actually funny. BTE, Up Up Down Down, the chyrons on AEW, the Cassidy vs Jericho feud, Keith Lee rising up behind random people (and the looks on their faces), Sammy Guevara getting run down by golf carts and horses, and Talk n Shop a Mania have all been legitimately funny and made me laugh in a time when we can all use a laugh.
3. Cinematic matches have been mostly good and they’re a great addition to PPVs. The Boneyard match, Stadium Stampede, and the Firefly Funhouse match (even the Tooth and Nail match last weekend) have all been highly entertaining. If they get overused, that’s another story.
What else has wrestling been doing right?

Quick counterpoint - The titles you mentioned DO seem more prestigious. It's the rest of the belts (mainly in WWE) that are treated like rubbish. Some title unification would clear that up, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
I think AEW having time limits and introducing their referees is something that was sorely missing from wrestling. It adds to the idea that this is supposed to be a sport and not just some television show. Their choice of time limits for matches, however, could use some tweaking.

1. That it is still on TV despite the absolute shitshow that this year had been. There's not much else going on, so it's nice to have one consistent source of entertainment.
2. The amount of indie talent that got a chance to compete in AEW is a big positive. Especially since most of their other sources of income have dried up.
3. The emergence of new stars. Guys like MJF, Darby, Orange Cassidy and Dominic Mysterio have all made a big impression in a short amount of time and I can't wait to see where their careers go from here.

I guess competition The last time it was really competitive was when WCW was around
But now (or at least what I heard for 2019) we have the war between AEW and WWE and other promotions are doing great such as NWA, impact (both of which I've heard are having resistances), MLW (the only one I literally don't know), NJPW, and ROH and to a lesser extent CMLL, dragons gate, AJPW, and AAA (again all 3 are just from what I heard) So in a sense a renaissance of wrestling (in terms of fans) could be happening
Also I heard that WWE owns 4 different Indies or something like that (so they have more of a chance to shine if it's true)
Also with all of that I guess variety of (popular) styles
