I am having a terrible time with match ratings in the new version. I used to get the occasional flop 2 star and the occasional 5 star most 3 or 4. Now I'm mostly getting 2 star matches. My first triple threat match was Dark Invader, Ace Arcadium, and Slashmaster two stars.
It also looked like Ace didn't generate any cheers at all.
Help! I love this game but I am bad at it now.

it would bother me less if you got all the money at two stars instead of 75%.

We've not made anything harder in regards to ratings calculations. Exact same formula as previous games. |

We bring Magnifico and I.
I accept that nothing has changed in the formula but I am frustrated that rng is making me question if my best matches from the old version will get 3 stars in this one.

Totally understandable! For what it's worth, please note that we are 6 days post launch and still squashing bugs regularly. The game has gone from a few dozen users to hundreds and initial issues will be discovered in these early days. We'll continue to put out frequent updates in coming days/weeks as we continue to clean things up. That all said, there is always the possibility that some underlying issue elsewhere in the game is adversely affecting other parts of the game (that's essentially what's so 'bad' about bugs... they break stuff...even unrelated stuff). And to be clear, the only reason we chimed in on this thread was to assure folks that the statement of "they made it much harder to get good ratings" was disputed (by us, the devs) as it's patently false. Please keep on reporting issues and suggestions here on the boards though! We're always making notes and doing our best to fix stuff! And thanks for playing and helping build the best game possible! |

That's not the case for me. In fact, I've been getting MORE four star matches.
It's probably just bad RNG on your end.
