Been a while since I've done one of these, but I re-subbed to the network last month and I've been watching WWF PPV's from the late 80's.
Now just finished Wrestlemania IX so I looked how I could re-create the card using 8MWR parodys.
(Dark Match) Tito Santana vs Papa Shango Juan Tijuana vs Dark Mauler
Intercontinental Title Match Tantanka (w/ Sensational Sherri) vs Shawn Michaels (w/ Luna Vachon) (C) The Blitz (w/ Queen of Mean) vs HFK (w/ Elfette)
Steiner Brothers vs The Headshrinkers (w/ Afa) Howl & Roar vs Island Warriors (w/ Party Animal)
Crush vs Doink the Clown Destruction Crash vs Killer Klown (Oddities feud card in play)
Bob Backlund vs Razor Ramon Gepetto Rocco vs Chicano (Legends Match Card in play)
Tag-Team Titles Match Mega Maniacs (w/ Jimmy Hart) vs Money Inc (C) Mega Bros (w/ Prof Gigawatt) vs Wall Street (Break The Bank feud card in play)
Mr Perfect vs Lex Luger Flawless One vs Flex Deltoid
Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) vs Giant Gonzalez (w/ Harvey Wippleman) Undermaster (w/ Mort Ician) vs Big Thuggee (w/ Ryan Regret)
World Title Match Bret Hart (C) vs Yokozuna (w/ Mr Fuji) Mercenary vs Sumo San (w/ Mr Bonsai) (Sharp Shooting feud card in play)
World Title Match Hulk Hogan vs Yokozuna (w/ Mr Fuji) (C) Dude Brohan vs Sumo San (w/ Mr Bonsai)

Ugh this WM upset me so much--even in my youth I wasn't a Hogan fan.

Not the worst mania though that was 11 I'd say 32 also has a case for worst Mania.

Love the re-booking @dyno.
Also, how is this even a discussion? The worst Wrestlemania is 36. A pre-Thunderdome pandemic show spread out over two nights. Elias VS Corbin. Goldberg VS Braun. The finish to Flair VS Ripley. Black VS Lashley happening for no reason.
I might rewatch any other Mania, but there is no way that I'll ever go back to 36.

I might rewatch any other Mania, but there is no way that I'll ever go back to 36. 36 was bad... but it provided a venue for the Boneyard Match and the Firefly Funhouse match, gave us Owens v Rollins, and the tremendous ladder match with Morrison, Kingston and Jimmy Uso. The rest was filler or worse for sure, but it had a couple redeeming qualities, and given no fans due to circumstances beyond their control, it was passable. WM9... when your best match on the card was Shawn Michaels v Tatanka, you’re in big trouble. And the ending was absolute hot garbage. WM11 was also horrible... but I think it was slightly less bad than 9 because Michaels v Diesel may have been the only worthwhile match on the card, but at least you didn’t have Hogan come out and Hogan the title away from the winner.

I agree that there were plenty of good matches on 36, especially those that you mentioned. I just don't see people going back to this Wrestlemania, because it was strange and lifeless.
For me Wrestlemania is as much about the spectacle around it as it is about the matches. I'd probably sooner rewatch 9 or 11 before I go back to 36. It would have been a better show than either one of those two, but the pre-Thunderdome pandemic shows are really hard to go back to. I've gotten used to the Thunderdome shows now, but I think that even those will age poorly once we see crowds again.

Steiners v Headshrinkers was the best match from Mania IX for me.
Hart Yoko was good but an awful ending. But yeah the rest was woeful.
Best thing about the card was Jim Ross' debut, and Bobby Heenan's entrance.
