Absolutely not. Past discussions about Benoit have had me go into great detail about this so I’m not going to retread a lot of that ground. Bottom line is no matter how great of a wrestler he was, you can’t celebrate a man who killed his family. Human lives are far more valuable than anything having to do with wrestling.

I agree he was a great wrestler but what he did is unforgivable honestly I don't think Dynamite kid should be in bc of how much POS he was

I agree he was a great wrestler but what he did is unforgivable honestly I don't think Dynamite kid should be in bc of how much POS he was If you got rid of every POS human being in the Hall of Fame, you would end up with a lot of empty space. There are a lot of guys (and ladies) I’d rather not be in there, but where do you draw the line as far as moral conduct goes? The only thing you can really go on is have they broken the law? Are they convicted criminals? How heinous is the stuff that has been proven in a court of law? For example, I have no doubt Fabulous Moolah did much of what she has been accused. As far as I know, she never had to answer to any of it. She’s dead, a lot of the people who could corroborate the accusations are dead, and nobody who is living has hard evidence that anything criminal happened. The best we can do is hold today’s pro wrestlers to a higher standard of conduct and hope all future inductees are required to be a better quality of human being.

Benoit was one of my all-time favourties but how he went out was unforgivable, regardless of brain damage.
I may be biased though, but Dynamite Kid should absolutely be in. He was a wanker yes, but no more so than a lot of folks already in and that often get talked about.

Being Canadian I was fortunate to see him in his early career. Unbelievable talent and he was ahead of his time. His match against Tiger Mask still holds up today.

Surprised to see most people here agree with me. Benoit is an all time in ring great, but I completely understand why and agree with the fact that WWE never want to mention his name again.

I loved Benoit, he was one of my all time favorites but he can't ever be in the HOF. No way no how

Stone cold said it best in my opinion
"His career will speak for itself, but his record as a human being is first and foremost, and his actions will never be forgotten."
As a wrestler he should be due to his impact on wrestling as a whole but unfortunately the things he did as a person in real life (even with plenty of things pointing to him not being in the right state of mind) he just can't be in it

To be remembered as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and a massive fan favorite is as good is it will ever get for him, and his fans should be content with that.
Moral question:
Granted that WWE are within their right to remove him from their online libraries, effectively erasing him from history, but would it have been a better choice to keep it all available, monetizing and giving the proceeds to his surviving family as a gesture of solidarity? Especially since the victims WERE Benoit's own family and right now they might need looking after financially?

No because it's profiting off of a child murderer Agreed...but it's not like any other revenue documenting the tragedy and the murders or any shoot interviews dealing with the subject are passing along some % of the revenue to Benoit's son & daughter & parents...or Nancy's family for that matter. At least to my knowledge they aren't. It's a sticky thing...I know....I was thrown for loop at the time....literally threw up when details started coming out cos Benoit was one of my favorites....only Wrestling DVD hat I own is of him...Never brought my self to play it ever again.
