So I got a new phone and downloaded 8mwr and MMW. My 8mwr progress saved but my MMW save reset. I was only 1 year in but I had just unlocked Gavin Stirling and I had a good storyline going on. Kinda annoying

Yeah it's connected to my google play account and I made sure to go online on my old phone before I factory reset and sold it.

If it was connected to your Google Play account then all the data would be saved there, regardless of how many devices you played on. The data wouldnt just disappear.
