The only 'true' anime inspired card seems to be Trixie, who appears to be a bit bubbly (like Sailor Moon), othoe her look seems to be more Sailor Mercury.
Any ideas about other anime inspired cards?

Thundercats was animated in Japan...so maybe Mighty Leo? Mighty Leo's other inspiration was the wrestler Tiger Mask, who was originally a manga/anime character (who was also a fictitious wrestler). So he counts. Of course, I was searching for someone more...ahem...recent. Like Kenada and Tetsuro from Akira. Ranma from Ranma 1/2. Ash Ketchem from Pokemon.

And power rangers (super senti) if they count Power Rangers do not count, cause live action does not count.

Street Fighter was turned into anime, including one of the most infamous scenes in animated film. True. The movie. Street Fighter 2 V tv show. But much like Mighty Leo, anime 8s not the reason we have Max Ryu and No Mercy Ken. The video game is.

Popular anime in the 80's: Voltron Robotech Speed Racer reruns on MTV started late 80's, maybe.
Popular anime in the 90's: Bubblegum Crises, Project A-Ko, Akira, Overfiend, for all the wrong reasons, Ranma 1/2, Tenchi Muyo!, Gundam (especially Gundam Wing).

And...we shouldn't forget the mess which is the DiC dub of Sailor Moon. And the 800-pound monkey which is Dragon Ball/Z/GT.

Magnus Muscle says hi. Kinnikuman anime was in the 80s. I know, M.U.S.C.L.E. is probably more responsible for lending inspiration to the character than the actual manga and anime, but he still fits the bill.
