Between the game and the quarantine re-watches, I'm having a bit of a time going through some of my old opinions about wrestlers and I'm wondering what others see with the benefit of hindsight.
For example Guy whose awesomeness I totally missed: Vader (holy crap, did I just shrug at those moonsaults, or was younger me jaded) Guy whose appeal I now get, even if I still don't share it: Sid Justice/Vicious/Psycho (I get how his promos were a special brand of insane) Guy who I loved though at the time though they weren't anything special: Adam Bomb. (Can't explain it, maybe it's the pun).
What about you all, anyone who you've reconsidered as time has gone on?

I agree about Adam Bomb— the green contacts, the look, loved the guy as a kid, but there wasn’t anything about him that five other guys didn’t do better. Another guy like that who I loved as a kid was the guy who teamed with Sid Vicious and the future Undertaker as their partner in the Skyscrapers, “Dangerous” Dan Spivey. I thought he was every bit as talented as Sid, and almost as good as “Mean Mark”. Problem was, he didn’t have Sid’s look and body, and of course Undertaker was gifted with the most agility I’ve ever seen in a man his size. I also didn’t know at the time that Taker was sooooo green at that point, and that he was that good while so young, while Spivey was a vet and was getting outclassed by a guy who had been in the business for less than two years. Waylon Mercy could have been a great character for Spivey, but sadly he retired due to injury before we could see it in all its glory.

Also agree about Adam Bomb!
I was a real mark for Kona Crush too lol.
Ironik (purposely mis-spelt) that they ended up becoming a pretty bad-ass tag team.
