I've not been good today!  And the nerves are even worse now.

Both center midfielders with yellows at halftime… that’s got to open up the middle somewhat as both of them should rightly be cautious. I’d look for a sub around the 60 minute mark if the skipper sees that developing.

By the way, fun story— the last (and thus far, only) time I was in England was during Euro ‘96. I still have the tie I bought. I have never heard swearing to the degree of when I was watching that semifinal match in a pub in Bath. New combinations of swears were being invented about every 30 seconds. I’m just glad I was cheering for the correct side, or I might have been murdered.

This game is a double edged sword for me. My dad was born in England and my mother is Italian. I think the loss of Spinazola is too much for the Italians. It definitely showed during the Spain match, as no one from the back can move the ball upfield like him. Hopefully it’s a good match.

I don't know if England is experienced enough to win it even with spinazola out. Also, i don't know about Southgate's lineup choices, he needs to play Sancho more.

Person who was born in England to an Italian-Welsh family here - I was cheering Italy the whole time (though I was backing Wales in the group stage...)

Being serious for a moment - I was overjoyed when Italy won, mostly cause my English friends wouldn't be mocking me for then next month, until I calmed down and remembered that the Italian fans would have to leave the stadium and face the mob of angry, racist men awaiting them. My fears were confirmed when I saw a video teenager, who could well have been English, get punched in the face and an Asian guy being swarmed and kicked on the ground. Disgusting.

Sorry to all the respectful, kind England supporters for being associated with these vile EDL wastes of space, including the ones on this board.
