To Kobane's point, the rules stipulate that you cannot post consecutively - there must be at least one post from another person before you can post again - so hoarding points isn't as easy as it would seem. To Caine's point, I hadn't considered the time difference since in prior battle royals only Dyno was physically located in the UK. I see where not being able to start participating until around 10 hours in could be an issue, but for myself on Eastern time there's definitely a good chunk of time where I am not able to participate but the UK members would be. It's a tough situation with two possible solutions: 1 - I post that episode of Glory around noon Eastern which would give the UK members an entire evening to participate along with the US members. I would be typing it on my lunch break at work which shouldn't be too much of a hassle. 2 - We scrap the battle royal in favor of something else. I've been giving this some thought and I think that a battle royale is too good of an idea not to do, but it's how to make it fair and fun. After all, we are creating a story and having fun. The roleplay element of this should outweigh any gaming element. I was thinking that maybe you couldn't give points to yourself, but you can remove them. So that way, you'd be taking points from one participant and giving it to another, one who you enjoy hearing from, or who writes well or who you think deserves the win or who will be interesting to tee off against another. It would also mean that posts aren't just simple, "I hit X and then do Y move," which tend to get a bit repetitive. It also means folk could chat via private messages to generate spots and be imaginative. That and, most importantly, it allows participants to boost someone up by eliminating themselves, putting people over and not just getting into business for themselves. Once the pool is eliminated to 2/3/4, it could turn into a poll, I guess?

I mean you could do something like, only post once every 30 mins, not allowed to +1 yourself, etc etc. I realise that I just said what you said, only it took me longer and you did it far better.

The earlier start time might help so we all can get a session of the match in together, then as it thins out the time difference shouldn't matter too much?
Another idea that just jumped into my head, that I haven't thought through at all so feel free to veto, is staggering starts like a Royal Rumble/Elimination Chamber: so say it kicks off at 5pm in the UK (Are there any other player this side of the Atlantic that aren't in UK?) but only with the UK based players; then at 5pm Eastern US, the rest of you guys join.
This way, the European players get a bit of time to particpate among ourselves and by 5pm US a couple of the us should have been elimated, or at least one or two will have accrued a decent enough stack of points to survive during the night over here while those of you stateside get to do your thing.
Just a thought to kick around if you think it has merit

It's a few weeks away, but I was thinking that for the Stanley/Rebecca wedding, we have a regular match booked and do a regular episode of Glory, but the actual "main event" would be the wedding, which would start once the match ends and can go on in the episode thread as long as needed.

Sounds good. In case your wondering, JWA Cares is a generic charity set up to give money to whatever causes spring up. Feel free to use it when needed. I'm also sure there is Make A Dream and such out there also.

Should we have the rematch between Arizona & Penguino on the wedding episode?

Should we have the rematch between Arizona & Penguino on the wedding episode? Up to them, but Penguino has a plan about a date with a cake also.

Should we have the rematch between Arizona & Penguino on the wedding episode? I wouldn't mind it, like Stanley said it would affect a minor little thing that I have planned but I'd rather do the match on that date.

Should we have the rematch between Arizona & Penguino on the wedding episode? So, Arizona purposely hasn’t addressed it because he’s focused on the tag division. He has no reason to face Penguino again— he’s accepted the loss, counts it as a clean loss since Big Buff attacked both of them equally, and has moved on. Also, he understands that the match meant more to Penguino than to himself, and the more strong competitors capable of winning over a former champ, the better JWA is as a whole. (But if he gets booked, he gets booked.)

In the event that no one teams up to challenge Big Waves at Super Glory, I will be booking Pierre and Chesterton into single matches the following weeks and treating them like the top two contenders to the World Heavyweight Title. It seems unfair to punish the tag champions by leaving them inactive. The question then is: who do they face?
Chesterton vs. Arizona? Pierre vs. Penguino?
I'm also toying with having the winner of Ashe/Duke face the loser of the Rogers/Caine title match as a top contender match as well. Maybe a 3 way at the end between the winners of these three matches to see who the challenger will be at Guts & Gory?

Not going to say too much, but Caine and myself might have something in the works for after his match with Red.
