In the event that no one teams up to challenge Big Waves at Super Glory, I will be booking Pierre and Chesterton into single matches the following weeks and treating them like the top two contenders to the World Heavyweight Title. It seems unfair to punish the tag champions by leaving them inactive. The question then is: who do they face? Chesterton vs. Arizona? Pierre vs. Penguino? I'm also toying with having the winner of Ashe/Duke face the loser of the Rogers/Caine title match as a top contender match as well. Maybe a 3 way at the end between the winners of these three matches to see who the challenger will be at Guts & Gory? Well i do enjoy myself a good mini tournament, but i dont know how that would go in relation to other upcoming big shows

I really liked earlier in the year when we seemed to have a tag team partner for everyone, and everyone had a tag team partner.
The best way I can think to do that is a partner lottery: put every non-title champion in a partner generator (https://pairs.austincodingacademy.com/). You can end up with different partnerships that you hadn't expected, a few possible disasters, and a few surprising partnerships. Let them have a couple matches to become #1 contenders and then send them against the Big Waves.
(Also, I completely cribbed this idea from a bilingual kid's book: Maxamillian and the Lucha Libre Club (https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/27135532), just in case you need a light, quick, wrestling related story that also challenges you to improve your spanish)

Always loved that concept.

Sorry I have been light on getting on the board of late gang. Thanks Kip for giving us something to do. I was considering seeing if Pierre wanted to have us take on a pair of enhancement guys to give us something. But I love the singles matches and the ideas you guys are rolling out about lethal lottery and such.

Sigh, again I show my ignorance. I'm glad that my book selection takes time to be accurate, but I'm a bit embarrassed that I only encounter these things in books rather than, ya know, life.

Don't feel bad, Lethal Lottery was an old WCW/NWA gimmick that hasn't been done since 1996 I think.

There are four shows in October before the Guts & Gory PPV. Should we do the tag gimmick BEFORE the J-1 so that there are tag title challengers for the PPV?
This would mean that "Lord" Taylor Thorin's first match would be in a random tag partner match.

Ewww, having to team with one of these peons? I don't think I paid Whistler enough.

Ewww, having to team with one of these peons? I don't think I paid Whistler enough. Hey, in kayfabe it’s a debut match that’s on the path to a championship, so it’s not THAT bad. Plus depending on the partner it could end up being the start of an angle. So I figure if we remove the current champs (Red, Pierre, and Chester) as well as the “suspended” Arizona, that leaves 8 people. That’s 4 teams and 3 shows if we do a single-elimination tournament, which fills the schedule perfectly with something else that was just proposed in private. If we’re all in agreement, this Mad Dash Tag Lottery will commence on the first Glory in October.
