Just as Thumper Moore III 's speech comes to an end, the lights dim and a tapping sound is heard over the speakers.?: "We on? We good?" The many large TV screens around Killies then come to life and Dyno is in frame courtesy of a live feed. He is at the top of the Skytree building overlooking Tokyo.DYNO: "AC! Sorry I couldn't be there mate, hope you're having a great time. It's morning here, but I had to get up to connect with you and the gang. Jacko, can't wait to see what the new gaff is like! Anyway, have a great night and I'll see you soon. I got in touch with Yuppie and I know he's missing tonight, but he did sort this out... At that moment, the lights go completely out momentarily and a large cake is wheeled out of the kitchen area by two scantily clad showgirls, the (many) candles blazing away on top provide the only light as the room and Dyno burst out into a chorus of "Happy Birthday". As it finishes, the lights come back on.DYNO: "Oh...before I forget...Jacko has queued up your favorite song on the Karaoke. And hey...a bunch of wrestlers and cake, what can go wrong eh?" Dyno waves then signs off the live feed as the tv's then change to the typical Karaoke screen with the title of the next track ready to go... OOC: Now we have two cakes in the room with a bunch of wrestlers. Great minds think alike.😂 |

As the party is winding down, Yuppie VP makes a brief appearance to say hello to everyone and offer his birthday wishes to Mr. Chance. It is noteworthy that Yuppie is wearing a suit that is less fancy than he wore previously, and he isn't wearing a tie anymore. He notices that Vinny and Bambi Bambino appear a little too intoxicated and offers to give them a lift home. As they leave, it is clear to everyone that Yuppie still has a bit of a thing for Bambi and has developed a camaraderie with Vinny since moving into his trainer/producer role.

An open shirted and intoxicated Chesterton rises from the booth he was at with Red Pirate and Pierre, giving a fist bump to the former and attempting a big on the latter.
Chesterton: Rad Pirate… I totally knew we could be buds. As I said, we are both men of the sea. And for sure no worries about our upcoming challenge. Not with my big bro here on board. No hard feelings, Pierre. We’re mates til the end. I’m looking full forward to getting a crack at Penguinbro, Buffabro, and especially Slash… can’t quite get a bro on there. Very well.
Chesterton half staggers off, and catches Mack Caliber and Arizona in his sights.
Chesterton: Hello, I must be going. But… Champ, I sincerely appreeshy… ate… your endorsement. We’re going to do the JWA proud. Honestly. And Chance, dude, you know, you know how to throw one hell of a come together now don’t you? I had not a clue this Killies was such a thoroughly lovely spot. Or that you, sir, had a lovely little lass of your own. Had I been aware perhaps I’d have had her face airbrushed on the board I got for rather than your own… She’s precious, brother. Happy birthday. Thanks for permitting me to join the boys in the celebration.

Penguino and Johnny Kobra have gone to some sort of fancy restaurant which is right across the street from Killies. The two are having steaks the size of their faces and look over into killies and start to snicker.

Man 1: Hey, come here. I’ve got to show you this data.
*The second man walks over, expecting an opportunity to look at the data, but he’s instead surprised by an elbow to the face. The first man removes his surgical mask, revealing himself to be Tommy End.*
Tommy End: Thank you, sir. This new batch of mist should be the perfect weapon to take the Red Oni out once and for all.
Man 2: The Oni will stop you. He’ll know of this.
Tommy End: How would he? You certainly aren’t going to tell him. That sugar you added to your coffee wasn’t sugar. It was a memory blocker. You won’t remember any of this. But now, it’s time for you to go asleep.
*Tommy locks the man in the Dragon Sleeper, and he quickly loses consciousness. Then, Tommy pulls his phone out and sends a text to Arizona Chance.*
“Hey, I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for your party, but I had some urgent business to attend to. I’ve got you something though, although we’re going to need to go to Japan to get it.”

She frowns, not as if she’s upset, but worried. “I knew that this was coming. Just don’t make today be like Bilbo’s birthday party where he never returns. You come back to me. Now go home and pack.” She hugs Arizona tighter than when he returned home from his captivity, sheds a single tear, wipes it away, then returns to the party as Arizona quietly slips out the back door. As he leaves, Arizona hears her say, “If everyone wants to head out, we’ve arranged a small fireworks show out front to end the festivities.” |

Seph gingerly circles groups of revellers and gives greetings, fist bumps and handshakes to those he recognises and has had interactions with, too many to name individually. There are a few that he knows of but has never spoken to. He nods and smiles to them. He is not comfortable and every nerve along his goosefleshed skin screams at him to leave. He has never been in the middle of large groups before and flinches instinctively when someone moves close.
He finds Arizona and offers sincere thanks and congratulations. The inaugural champ invites Seph to take a seat but he declines and gives reasons... or excuses.
A single pair of eyes follow Seph as he passes through the bar, moves to Jackson and collects his doggie bag. With a sigh, Conor Caine returns to his conversation.

Use the phone number I gave you for the Joestar family if needed. I also got the phone number of Rohan, the guy who does Pink Dark Boy." Rebecca nods. "Just keep safe my husbando." They kiss before following Arizona out of the party. |

The next morning, Arizona and Tommy meet at the airport. Stanley is a bit later, as saying goodbye to Rebecca takes him an excessive amount of time while Arizona and Tommy roll their eyes. They silently board the plane, and have a first class cabin to themselves for the ten hour flight.
“I booked us to be back home on Monday so Tommy has plenty of time to prep for his match with Dyno,” Arizona started. “Stan, Tommy, I think we all have info we want to share with each other. I’ll go first— I have the identity of the Red Oni.” Stan and Tommy look at each other briefly. “When I fought the guy at Glory a couple weeks ago, it was really him. The stand user was… your old master’s greatest rival, Ninja Star.”
“You knew this from fighting him? How?” Tommy’s question was reasonable.
“Because before my match with Stanley’s couple months ago, I went to visit him. I fought an animated suit of armor in his dojo, several hours out of Tokyo in the mountains. He’s the one who taught me how to deal with the Ranken punch, much like he had to do against Great Ginzu decades ago. I’m afraid… I’m afraid that visit may have tagged me as a target in all this nonsense.”
“Makes sense. So, where do we go to find his dojo?” Stanley tried to get to the point quickly.
“See, that’s the thing,” Arizona answered. “I don’t exactly know. I was blindfolded at the airport and whisked away in a car.”
“So, use your phone’s GPS tracker to determine where you were.” Tommy had a great idea.
“I did, and it lost signal about an hour out. However, I do have one more idea about how to get there. If one of Ninja Star’s enemies was captured and escaped, they may know where the dojo is located. As a matter of fact, I did some research, and there was a kidnapping reported in 2004. A teenage girl was kidnapped, spent two weeks missing, and was reported to have escaped her captors from a remote dojo in the mountains. Her case was not taken seriously by police, who deemed the case to be of a runaway with a strong imagination, not a kidnapping. The girls name was—“
“Mirei.” Stanley was one step ahead.
“So, sorry gentlemen, but I think the place to start will be at Ginzu’s dojo. Unless you have other ideas. Tommy, you had something to share, I believe? Stan, any info you have would be helpful.”

"That kinda explains her slight on again and off again hatred of me. I'm sure Ninja Star allowed her to escape in order to use her as a spy and informant. Which means both me and Tommy was on his radar since we arrived at the dojo."
Stanley looks at Tommy deeply. "It's going to be heartbreaking for our old master. The one who now carries on his name being an unwitting spy for one of his oldest enemies."

Stanley looks at Arizona. "His stand ability is to turn a person into a book. He can add abilities to other people by writing stuff in our 'book'. He won't do it unless he reads all of us, for resource for his manga Pink Dark Boy. He already read me. Now he wants to read you and Tommy. The only other way is to cut him with one of the arrows. And the risk of death is just too great."

But we’re on a very tight schedule— Tommy has a match in two nights, we need to get to the Green Mist Dojo, and then to Ninja Star’s base in the mountains. Tommy, what do you say? Want to have the ability to see everything Ninja Star is going to throw at us?” |
