Seems like they were implemented to prevent just running stacked cards all the time. I don't like that you can't use jobbers in that slot, though. The only practical use I really have for them is to give some reasoning to put them in as a can for a filler title defense. Why does Crash get a shot at the TV title on a Sunday Night Slam? Well, he's won his last few matches in the opener, that's why.

I use them for pretty much guys who need that extra skill point and cross my fingers that RNG hits.
Along with maybe moving repeated winners in better situations.
Like Cesar Sleaze right now for me.

It's a reason to buy foils. Chet Skye, Johnny Kobra, and Big Thugee are badass openers

I just put my biggest draws in them. I need to find better heels to face Chet or (foil) Racer, though.

Is there any way to make a card inactive so that you dont see it when booking matches? I don't need every wrestler I have on my roster and would like to make some of the lesser guys inactive.

Moon Man's foil is a monster and Yuppie VP's foil is also something I use often. I'm trying to collect all the foils for Openers because it's a huge hit on your draw if you put in standard opener cards.

I find there a good way to try and start a push for someone to start getting a few wins under there belt before losing in a mid title match.
Also good for opening foils to put on a good match, soul daddy and chet skye are awesone for this
