By the way there are some matches I wanted to put here but I either felt like they wouldn’t happen because of X wrestler(s) involved in the match (such as Rey vs Jericho in their mask vs title match, Rey vs Ultimo dragon at world war 3 1996, royal rumble 2006 etc.), the match was too short (or the opposite in RR 2006’s case) to really pull anything from (such as Rey vs JBL at Wrestlemania 21 or Samoa Joe at money in the bank 2019), used another wrestler too much (specifically Eddie), or I don’t think it fits even if I think it’s a big or good match (such as Rey vs taker at royal rumble 2010, his return at RR 2018, elimination chamber 2009, Rey vs JBL at judgement day 2006, etc.) and yes some of them are a mix between others

Also I’m definitely didn’t consider any no mask Rey matches because F those

In all honestly I (for the sake of other people) would probably have it be 6 or 7 WCW and WWE matches each (or like 4 or 5 for WCW and let the rest be WWE) plus the ECW and fantasy match

Has anyone already bought this? I'm hesitating myself. I keep hearing that it is a huge improvement over 2K20, but 2K has a sponsorship deal with almost every single wrestling You-Tuber at the moment, so I don't know how reliable these reviews are.

I got it and with the glitches it's way better, i've only ran into two
First in myrise mode if you have a big match it will often delay a few minutes before and after anybody enters the ring
Second with downloading a character (Only happened to me the first character I dowloaded though) it kicks you and you don't get the guy

However the game is new and I personally think the GM mode and Myrise are the best parts and this is all in the NWO 4 LIFE edition

Do you know if the community creations are crossplatform? I still haven't been able to get myself a PS5, so I would be getting it for the PS4.

I haven’t bought it yet, but from what I can tell Gore and Perkins aren’t sponsored by 2k and the gameplay from their Universe mode has looked really good so far.

I’m pretty sure they aren’t because I’ve never seen them post videos of them getting footage before the game comes out or talk about getting to play it early.

Speaking from a PlayStation perspective (I’m saying this since I’ve heard PC players are having a lot of problems with the game) I think this is a really great game on the cusps of being amazing

I won’t talk about universe mode, superstar mode, or online since I don’t care about any of them except for universe mode which I’m waiting for the full roster to come out before I play it

GM mode depends on if the good outweighs the bad for you (I was going to do a pros and cons list for this but the page refreshed and I just finished the cons and I don’t wasn’t to type everything out again) and how well you can immerse yourself in it

My Rise is filled with so many storylines and is arguably the best mode because of them and you can actually lose now (for the most part) instead of being forced to win but 2 of the biggest problems are that you are limited to those storylines only and some wrestlers being exclusive to this mode (this include different versions of wrestlers in then game like King Booker, Old man HBK, Theory and Ali being part of the cult of Rollins, etc.)

Even though I’m disappointed in how small the showcase is this year I still have to say that I feel like it’s the best since Stone Colds back in 16 but I don’t get why you have to unlock Dominick after you unlock his match in showcase

I personally find My Faction to be really fun with the exception of the 4 team ladder matches but if you wanted to use your faction against somebody else’s faction then you’re going to have a problem

Although having custom portraits for custom wrestlers is great it doesn’t change the fact that there are no longer any advance entrances

And most importantly the core gameplay is a nice mix of arcade and simulation so everyone should be able to find some fun In the game
