I won’t talk about universe mode, superstar mode, or online since I don’t care about any of them except for universe mode which I’m waiting for the full roster to come out before I play it
GM mode depends on if the good outweighs the bad for you (I was going to do a pros and cons list for this but the page refreshed and I just finished the cons and I don’t wasn’t to type everything out again) and how well you can immerse yourself in it
My Rise is filled with so many storylines and is arguably the best mode because of them and you can actually lose now (for the most part) instead of being forced to win but 2 of the biggest problems are that you are limited to those storylines only and some wrestlers being exclusive to this mode (this include different versions of wrestlers in then game like King Booker, Old man HBK, Theory and Ali being part of the cult of Rollins, etc.)
Even though I’m disappointed in how small the showcase is this year I still have to say that I feel like it’s the best since Stone Colds back in 16 but I don’t get why you have to unlock Dominick after you unlock his match in showcase
I personally find My Faction to be really fun with the exception of the 4 team ladder matches but if you wanted to use your faction against somebody else’s faction then you’re going to have a problem
Although having custom portraits for custom wrestlers is great it doesn’t change the fact that there are no longer any advance entrances
And most importantly the core gameplay is a nice mix of arcade and simulation so everyone should be able to find some fun In the game
I would’ve gone more in depth about everything but I didn’t want to lose everything to the page refreshing
