This morning, my 2 year old had on a cape and informed me: "you da bad guy". I responded by immediately saying "say hello to the bad guy" in my best Razor Ramon voice.
Anyone else have odd moments of dropping in references that your kids don't get, but you do?
(I also named my 4 year old's favorite "diesel train" Kevin...because...obviously)

Well I’m not a parent but I have brothers that are ridiculously younger than me and refuse to watch wrestling older than 2010 or so.
So anyways I was playing around with my brother in the middle and decided to hit him with a super kick and he says after “why would you do that it doesn’t hurt anyone.” And I reply “We’ll now I’ve lost my smile.”

After the nurse handed me my newborn son for the first time I couldn't help but think: What would my hero and rolemodel Gene Snitsky do in a moment like this? My wife looked on in horror as I re-enacted one of the most celebrated moments in our great sport. She didn't get the reference. Neither did the police or the judge.

One of my daughters tried to get mouthy with me. So I put up my four fingers and my thumb….I then point at my palm and say “This is where the power lies!”

Took my now college-aged son to Dynamite last week as he was home on Spring Break. We actually talked on the two hour ride there about how much time we had spent watching wrestling together— from the time he was 9 till 15, we watched RAW together probably every third week, plus I had the WWE Network, so that’s about ten hours a month for six years, and since AEW, Dynamite was appointment TV, so that’s another 6-8 hours a month plus quarterly PPVs— we’ve probably spent around 1000 hours watching wrestling together over the last decade.
We then tallied up football— we watch the Bucs every Sunday, plus his middle school and high school games and sometimes Sunday Night— and came up with about 700 hours watching football together, plus about around 250 hours watching him play.
The point is, I’ve been a more involved parent and created lasting memories with my boy over shared interests, one of which is wrestling.
Also, I told my daughter who was mouthing off to me a few days ago “Know your role and shut your mouth,” and I think my wife would’ve killed me had she not been laughing so hard.
