The Killer Bees (wrestlers), the Killer Bees (Saturday Night Live skit), Spider-Man and the Scarlet Spider (Marvel comics...man comic book geeks love to hate clones), whatever. |

There's also a stable in chikara called the Colony consisting of Soldier Ant, Worker Ant, and Fire Ant (although I just saw there's a few others too).
I thought that might have been the inspiration.

On a side note, one of the Killer B’s (Brian Blair) is now a politician in my hometown and was on city council for a number of years.
