WOOF! Can anybody tell me why I fell for this? $7,000 to put Mark Bug and Jobber Joe in a DUD of a 1 on 2 with Honest Al. A surprising 3* match (given the good vs. good nature of it) between Michael T. Wolf and Max Muscle (80's), and a Music Video featuring Only Yuppie VP which got a SHOCKING 3*, but did nothing for his Pop rating. In fact, I don't think anyone improved in any aspect. Granted, this certainly happens at times, but for $7,000 I was thinking I'd get an ideal show of some kind. Like a hint at what that week should or could look like. I love the game and, let's be real, $7,000 is NOT much to regain, especially with the Merch Booth, but is this happening to anyone else?

...It's autofill buddy.
It's for people who just want to rush through years, and not for good shows.
I tried it once, and had multiple duds and 1 stars.
I wouldn't suggest doing it.

That's pretty much what I thought, and probably should've known. I can't help but feel a bit ridiculous, but no big deal. Apparently I am not the only cat curiosity has gotten the better of here. Thanks for letting me know though. I honestly appreciate it.

There should be also an improved Autofill option. The basic Autofill simply fills the grid. Improved Autofill tries to make the best-rated show based on what you have. It'll cost more than simple Autofill, but gives you some hints to how you should book your own show (cause some people learn better with 'show, not tell').

I tried this the other day to test it and build up tokens, and I'm ok with the results. Granted I still have few enough cards to only cost me $2K and I set the P4V to get a worthy show and offset losses from the previous three (which always make a profit until factoring in the $2K), but I fly through years with a profit and a token faster.
The computer definitely makes ridiculous matches, like Tennis Pro vs. one of the Buggs or Sleaze challenging Lazer for the WC, but I can get cards when they pop up that I want without grinding away for a few hours, like The Valedictorian tonight.
