I think it costs 1000 per show a wrestler is out for, for the overall total cost. so if a wrestler is out for 8 weeks, it costs 8000. I do like the dynamic of having to way up the decision of wether to heal an injured star, but realistically, its not cost effective to do so, even if its a legendary card with a merch card. in my opinion the cost of healing a wrestler should be halved

you would get the overall money back from a ppv anyway, wether you use the injured card or not, just doesnt seem worthwhile to me, to heal injured wrestlers

Jimbob is correct. Mathematically it never makes sense. The only time it makes sense is from a storytelling perspective, if someone is in a feud and it’s built up to their blowoff match, and you don’t want to wait.

Certainly not cost effective. I did it once with my only main eventer Dr. B. He was out for 9 weeks, the $9K was certainly not worth it for a $100 shirt and (maybe) 3 star match each week.
I don't even think $500 a week would be worth it.

I really like how injuries work. But I wish they were kayfabe.

On the subject of injuries, I don't see why they can't cut promos while injured, and I am really lost on why they can't receive an end of the year award, especially considering if they're a champ they still defend the belt.
