Best: Cody coming back
Worst: Brawl Out, Kota calling out New Japan and getting a half arsed apology

Before I give out my awards I’d like explain some awards that I’m making up
Future star award: a wrestler under 27 that I think will be one of the big wrestlers in a few years for either WWE, AEW, NJPW, or (to a lesser extent) Impact
Breakdown Star: a wrestler with a disappointing year considering the amount of momentum they were carrying in their previous year
Master of the Mic: the wrestler(s) that I felt were the best on the mic
Most improved wrestler: a wrestler with a year vastly exceeding what they did in their previous year
Champion of champions: the champion(s) that I felt had the best reign (duel champions count as long as both titles are being defended with each other)
The promotions I have watched this year are WWE, AEW, AAA, ROH, NWA, MLW, Impact, and a good bit of Stardom, NJPW, and NOAH and these are the winners of my awards
Wrestler of the Year - Seth Rollins
Match of he Year - FTR vs the Briscoes (Double Dog Collar match - Final Battle)
Feud of the Year - MJF vs CM Punk
Future Star - Roxanne Perez
Breakdown Star - Drew McIntyre
Tag Team of the Year - FTR
Master of the Mic - MJF
Tournament of the Year - AEW Grand Slam Tournament of Champions
Most Improved Wrestler - Jonah
TV Match of the Year - Adam Page vs Bryan Danielson (Dynamite January 5th)
PPV of the Year - Forbidden Door
Underrated Wrestler of the Year - Alex Shelly
Disappointing Match of the Year - Jonathan Gresham vs Claudio Castagnoli
Champion of Champions - the Usos (WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions)
Side note: you don’t have to use the same awards I did but if you want you can

Best stuff in wrestling this year: Sami Zayn. Jon Moxley. MJF. Ricky Starks. WALTER’s IC championship run. Elite v Death Traingle best of 7 series. Will Ospreay’s August. Scissor Me Daddy Ass. FTR the belt collectors. Stone Cold at Mania, including Austin Theory and Pat McAfee’s iconic stunner sells. Clash at the Castle. The Codyvator. Cody v Rollins with the torn pec. Eddie Kingston carrying that gas can to the ring in Anarchy in the Arena. The Jackass crew vs Zayn. Matt Cardona’s epic post-WWE run continues. Everything Takeshita did. Suzuki-gun and CHAOS in the US. Trips’s booking in general.
Worst stuff in wrestling this year: Brawl Out. Kota’s NJPW treatment. Tyrus as NWA champ. Ric Flair’s performance in his last match. Ronda’s title reign. Teddy Hart. Vince and Johnny Ace cover up.
