Does your Fed determine which wrestlers are available to you in the Shop? Or regardless of Fed is it random which wrestlers come up? If I'm in WW, will wrestlers listed as current champions, contenders, etc in RNR and ABCW come up in my Shop? I did one playthrough of WW and started a NEW+ and stayed in WW. My fear is that some wrestlers won't come up in my Shop?

Keep in mind that there are different rarity levels. I'm not sure how many levels there are, but the Opener cards will pop up more often than the Legendary cards.
Anecdotally, it feels like three levels. Someone can correct me if the devs have explained this, but it seems like there's common/uncommon/rare types. And clearing out the commons (Manager/Jobber/Opener?) will make way for more uncommons (Midcard/Upper Midcard?), but not necessarily more rare, which just come up randomly.
I bought all the mic spots/skits so long ago that I can't remember if they show up in the regular shop, but if you want more wrestlers, buy up all the non-wrestlers ASAP. Managers especially seem to dominate the rotation.

2 more questions. With some context: I've got all but 3 (now 4 with update) regular wrestler cards. I'm missing Mr. Fantasy and 2 Main Card females. I mostly collected all regular wrestler cards before buying foil though I have bought about 15-20 foils now. I have most skits/mic spots and all the animal style managers. I havn't spent on the Thinkers and the more costly managers. So here are my two new questions:
1- Is Mr. Fantasy the last wrestler card available? Meaning does he not come up until you have all the rest? I don't remember him ever even being available to buy. Again, I'm just missing him and two main card females.
2- I bought the Major Malice card on the exclusive tab because I was in the right time period to use him. I've held off on the new Hairy (Stud). Due to the fact that I have most of the regular cards (non foil), will he pop up pretty often or soon after the next update in the regular daily rotation? Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on him at 175000 or wait until he hits the daily rotation after the next update at regular price. But I'm not sure if he will come up quickly after due to my collection of 99% of regular cards or if he's going to be hard to get mixed in with all the foils.

The first one is a definite no I have no where near all of the wrestlers or cards in the game and I have legendary Mr Fantasy
The second one is up to you If you can get it do it but don’t go crazy over it

Here’s a niche shop related question:
Are upper midcard foils more common than Midcard foils?
(Context: back in November I noted the sudden shift from 5 cards to just 2 and Mr Fantasy noted that I’d like collected all the common cards. Since then my shop has gone back to 5 each refresh, but the mix of cards in shop seem to be 0-1 main event or legend (which makes sense as rare cards) 2-4 Upper Mid foils, and 0-2 mid card foils (which I would have thought would be reversed). (I suppose as there’s 89 mid adders and 94 upper mids, the later group is literally “more common” but these numbers still seem unexpected.
Anecdata: in 15 cards today, I got 1 legend, 2 midcard foils and 12 upper mid foils.

How many Midcard and Upper Midcard foils do you own?
My guess is that they're "weighted" the same in terms of rarity, but perhaps you've purchased more Midcard foils over time and there are just a lot more Upper Mid available to you.
FWIW, right now in my shop, I have 4 Uppers and 1 Midcard. And the Mid is Mallet Allen, who shows up 90% of refreshes for me (not buying until I max out his regular card).

This is a good idea and I think it tracks I currently have 26/88 Midcard Foils (I forgot that Edgar Prim hasn't been foiled yet), but only 1/94 upper mids. I still think the probabilities are a little skewed (at one point I had to decide to collect all the opener foils because they were dominating the shop and crowding out almost all the other levels), but I'm willing to bet it's also a product of what I'm expecting/hoping to see instead. |
