Greetings, grapple fans!
Tonight's main event should prove to be interesting, if nothing else. JWA World Heavyweight Champion "Relentless" Conor Caine will square off against two opponents, that being Tembleberry and The Earl of Jackson, both members of "Lord" Taylor Thorin and Duke Mongoose's entourage. This all stems from some weeks back when Caine and Mack Caliber teamed up to defeat Thorin & Mongoose in a lumberjack match to prove that without the outside interference from Tembleberry and The Earl that the tag team champions couldn't get the win. Tembleberry couldn't keep his mouth shut and now he and The Earl will have to put up or shut up against the top wrestler in all of the JWA. As an added bonus, should Caine be victorious here tonight, he and Mack Caliber will be added to the World Tag Team Championship match coming up in two weeks at Super Glory! It's beginning to look like a 4-way battle for the tag titles, but who knows? Anything could happen!
(The polls will be open for at least 24 hours. It doesn't matter who you vote for, just that you participate!)
Next week we'll be having a preview battle for the World Tag Team Championship match at Super Glory. "Lord" Taylor Thorin, The Professional Wrestler OF DOOM and Chesterton Shredsbury will be involved in a 3-way battle to gain momentum before the big match. However, should Conor Caine be victorious tonight and get Relentless Aggression added to the match at Super Glory, then Mack Caliber will be added to the match next week and it'll also be a 4-way. There's a lot hinging on tonight's bout.
JWA Women's World Champion Daisy Turner will be joining us tonight to reveal the winner of the Daisy World Cup and the newest member of the JWA roster. I can't wait for you all to find out!
Last week Arizona and Veronica Chance returned to JWA and stated their intentions to compete as a couple going forward. Who will step up to face them?
I know I mentioned it last week, but we still haven't heard anything from Red Pirate Rogers since losing the JWA World Heavyweight Championship. While it is unusual for someone like Rogers to go silent for so long, it is doubly unusual for him to remain quiet when Tommy End is practically begging him for a fight. Is this the week when this issue will finally come together?
Penguino picked up a big win last week over Duke Mongoose, so one has to wonder: what's next for our intrepid arctic friend?
Is Bad Luck Bradley back, or was that a figment of our collective imaginations?
Let's get this show underway! Get out there and work your gimmick!

The fans jump to their feet as "Relentless" Conor Caine walks through the curtain, the JWA title slung over his shoulder; its centre-plate clutched over his heart. Caine takes a moment to look around the cheering the fans before beating the title upon his chest in solidarity with them, and raising the belt above his head with one hand: the ovation gets louder.Rod C: Making his way to the ring, from Providence, Rhode Island, weighing in at 265 lbs, the JWA Champion: "The Relentless" Conorrrrrr Caaaaaaaaine! Caine makes his way to the ring and climbs through the ropes, where he goes through his routine of saluting the fans again while standing on the turnbuckles.LeRay: The animosity continues to grow between the faction of Duke Mongoose, "Lord" Taylor Thorin, and their entourage, and the rest of the JWA locker room! To the point where we now have the JWA Champion in a fight with Thorin's assistant Mr Tembleberry and the Earl of Jackson. How did things get this bad, Sean? Beeman: Jealousy, Mick! That's how! The rest of the JWA are a bunch of crybabies who can't stand to see Duke Mongoose and His Lordship dominate the tag division through sheer wrestling prowess! The worst of said crybabies is this jerk in the ring! Conor Caine is nothing but a bully, and you don't have to look much further than this match for proof! LeRay: Well, the Earl of Jackson is a seasoned professional here in the JWA, and Mr Tembleberry has proved to be a deciding factor in many victories for "Lord" Taylor Thorin who, it should be mentioned, is also going to be at ringside tonight. So, all said, it could be Conor Caine getting bullied tonight. But speaking of bullies... where are the challengers? Caine is in the ring with a microphone, the belt still over his shoulder. He faces the curtain as his music fades.Caine: "Trembleberry" and "The Earl of Jack-offs", you two have been pissing people around here off long enough with your antics; and that's to say nothing about "Lord Silver Spoon", Taylor Thorin. The fact is, my patience ran out with you three the minute you started your nefarious little ménage à trois months ago, and now you have the gall to try and make the JWA Champion wait for you to come out here and get your asses kicked?! Well that's the last straw. Get your three hides out here now so I can put leather to them, or God help you if I have to get out of this ring and go back there to get you! Caine passes the mic and title belt to Panther Haberdashery and gets to pacing the ring, waiting for his opponents to arrive. |

(OOC: I am under the impression that Thorin will be writing for Tembleberry and Jackson, but just to get things started...)
("Palladio" by Escala plays and "Lord" Taylor Thorin leads Tembleberry and The Earl of Jackson through the curtain an toward the ring. The fans boo mightily as the pompous trio march in time with the music. As they get closer to the ring, Duke Mongoose makes his way through the curtain as well, dressed in a similar fashion to the other three "aristocrats". Duke has gone the extra mile and is wearing a powdered wig. Honest Sal stops Duke in the aisle)
Honest Sal: Duke! No one said anything about YOU being at ringside as well as "Lord" Taylor Thorin! What are you doing here?
Duke: Sally boy! Would it be fair at all for my boys Tembleberry and The Earl to go into a fight with the World Heavyweight Champ without the best coaching in the world? His Lordship and I are going to be in their corner, just the same as they're in ours!
Sal: I think the reaction from these fans should speak volumes for how most people feel about that idea.
Duke: You're listening to these morons? Listen, fair is fair. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go guide my charges to victory!
(As Duke starts to walk toward the ring, he is met by Kip Whistler, who has rushed from the back to cut off Duke. Sal points the microphone in their direction)
Duke: Out of the way, Whistler! I've got business to attend to!
Kip: Duke, if you take one more step closer to that ring, you'll be fined, suspended, AND stripped of the World Tag Team Championship! I won't have any more shenanigans! It's bad enough that I'm allowing Thorin to be at ringside for this!
(The fans erupt at the idea of Duke being severely punished)
Duke: You'll regret this, Whistler! Mark my words!
(Duke walks back through the curtain. In the ring, Tembleberry and The Earl of Jackson look concerned while "Lord" Taylor Thorin looks thoroughly disgusted with the proceedings.)
LeRay: Kip Whistler lays down the law! And there's the bell!
Beeman: Wait! Wait! How is any of this fair?
LeRay: I think Tembleberry and The Earl are about to finally get what's coming to them.

[OOC: what a meta moment, watching Kip and Duke square off!]
LeRay: Tembleberry and The Earl aren't looking like a cohesive unit right now, as Conor Caine comes out swinging! A right hand lays out Tembleberry, and another knocks The Earl down! Tembleberry is up just in time to take another punch to the jaw, and the same for The Earl! Tembleberry down! The Earl, down! The fans are going crazy!
Tembleberry eventually sees sense and rolls away, rather than get back to his feet. As Tembleberry takes a break in the corner, Conor goes to work on The Earl.
LeRay: A series of right hands sends The Earl to the corner, and now Caine puts him down with a barrage of stomps!
Beeman: What a brave Champion we have, blindsiding and then mugging a pair of ringhands!
LeRay: Maybe if they were less dependent on the interference of Duke Mongoose, they wouldn't have been caught unawares when Duke was sent backstage!
Beeman: Don't remind me, Mick! Injustice on top of injustice!
Thorin climbs the apron to complain to Haberdashery, which distracts Conor.
LeRay: An exchange of words between Taylor Thorin and Conor Caine, and things are getting heated - but wait!
Tembleberry rushes up behind Caine and clubs him on the back, however it doesn't have the desired effect. Caine handily absorbs the blow and turns around to face Tembleberry, as Haberdashery forces a much-protesting Thorin off the apron.
LeRay: That didn't go to plan!
Beeman: Hey, you don't know what Tembleberry had planned!
Caine goes to grabs Tembleberry but he drops to the floor. At the same time The Earl comes rushing out of the corner to blindside Caine, but at the last second Caine turns...
LeRay: A quick evasion from Caine sees him go behind The Earl of Jackson... German Suplex! Caine is up! He ducks a punch from Tembleberry and hits him with a belly to belly! A cover from Caine, but The Earl of Jackson dives in to break the pin at the last second!
Beeman: See, LeRay?! I told you Tembleberry had a plan! And now he and The Earl set to work, kicking some manners into Conor Caine!

As Tommy End’s music hits, the JWA crowd erupts into boos. End grabs a microphone and is about to speak, but he stops to soak in the crowd’s negative reactions.
Tommy End: I get it. You’re sick of me going on about our cowardly ex-champ. Believe me, I’m as sick of the guy ducking my challenges as you are. Red, I am begging for a match. You’re supposed to be a man of the people. The people want to see me stop talking and start fighting. So give the people what they want.

LeRay: Conor Caine is struggling to get to a vertical base as Tembleberry and The Earl of Jackson rain down punches and kicks!
Caine manages to catch Tembleberry's leg as he goes for a kick, but before he can capitalise, The Earl lands a swift punt to the Champ's lower back. The assault continues, until Conor has been beaten towards the edge of the ring. Suddenly, Tembleberry falls back, as if he received a knockout punch.
LeRay: What the hell just happened?!
Beeman: Heel tactics! The Earl of Jackson is complaining to referee Panther Haberdashery that Conor Caine just struck Tembleberry with a foreign object! Is there nothing this coward won't stoop to?!
LeRay: Caine struck Tembleberry?! He's barely been able to get his hands up to defend himself, never mind attack anyone with or without a foreign object!
As The Earl of Jackson gets into Haberdashery's face, Thorin comes around to the ring apron where Caine is lying, and begins to choke Conor as he lies near the ropes. The fans shower down boos.
LeRay: This is despicable!
Beeman: What are you talking about? His Lordship is just searching Conor Caine for that object he struck Tembleberry with!
LeRay: Give me a break!
Haberdashery notices Thorin choking Caine out and intervenes. Thorin backs off with his hands up and, the charade exposed, Tembleberry gets to his feet. Haberdashery orders Thorin's men to opposite corners as he allows Caine to get back to his feet.
LeRay: Conor Caine is looking the worse for wear after that mobbing!
Beeman: He'll have a hard time cheating now!
Conor nods to Haberdashery that he wishes to proceed with the fight. The ref steps aside and the match continues...

So give the people what they want. finally the cannons blast, and Pirate King hits, the crowd steps up to see...a scrawny looking Vinny Bambino walking out like he's Red Pirate Rogers, spinning, smiling, high-fiving. Vinny...er..."Red" walks up to Tommy as Mick sounds exasperated and Beeman can be heard saying "oh, Rogers bulked up I see...". Tommy End takes one step towards the imposter Rogers and watches Bambino collapse, writhing in agony. End shakes his head and smirks at the crowd when there's a rustle behind him and we see the Real Red Pirate. He spins End around and delivers a cutlass kick square to the jaw. The crowd pops as Tommy sprawls out and Vinny high tails it for the back. And the Real Red grabs the mic. "Listen here you mewling poltroon...the world does not revolve around you. You can't just utter some drivel and have your hearts desire. I pursued my heart, learned a lesson, and am back to do what must be done. Believe me, Thomas. I am only too happy to give the people what they want, as I am...dear fans...as ever...at your..." (the crowd roars COMMAND). Tommy begins to slowly get up, Rogers considers giving him an extra kick, but instead backs up and says clearly, "in the parlance of our times...#bookitkip!" |

OOC: Sorry work's been a bastard today!
Conor isn't sure where to go as Tembleberry and the Earl of Jackson try to use the numbers advantage, jumping in and out trying to confuse the champ. On the outside, Thorin looks on unimpressed with the officiating.
In the ring, Conor takes a couple of smart jabs from Jackson, before eating a forearm from Tembleberry which backs Conor into a corner. Punch, kick, punch, kick.
BEEMAN: "Haha look at that LeRay, your precious champion is on the defensive!"
LERAY: "Surely Haberdashery has to step in here?! Wait...is Conor smiling!"
The attack seemingly has no effect on the champ, as he eventually steams out of the corner with a double clothesline which knocks down his opponents. The crowd love it as Caine stretches himself out before throwing Tembleberry out of the ring, then turning himself onto the veteran Earl Jackson.

LeRay: Caine and Jackson circle each other and lock up... Jackson stomps on Caine's foot and pokes him in the eye!
Beeman: Textbook offence!
LeRay: And a clothesline brings the blinded Conor Caine down to the mat!
Jackson gets a knee on Caine's head and wrenches his arm back in a mean looking armlock. As Haberdashery checks on Caine, Thorin approaches Tembleberry on the outside.
LeRay: What's this?! Thorin is passing Tembleberry an object... a pair of brass knuckles!!!
Beeman: He's not passing them to Tembleberry, he's showing them to him! See? He found the knux that Caine viciously attacked Tembleberry with earlier!
LeRay: Are you kidding? Any fool could see through that story! But somebody who isn't seeing any of this is referee Panther Haberdashery, who's too distracted by the action in the ring!
Caine fights through the pain to position himself on the shoulder not currently tied up by Jackson: with extra room provided from this base, Caine is able to roll and reverse the pressure on his captured arm. Caine now takes control of Jackson's arm from the mat and quickly locks in a triangle choke.
LeRay: A deadly submission locked in! Will Jackson tap before Tembleberry can make the assist?
Thorin sends Tembleberry back into the ring, but as Tembleberry slides under the bottom rope, the brass knuckles fly off his hand and go scattering by Haberdashery. Haberdashery goes after them as Jackson taps.
LeRay: He's tapping out, but the ref can't see it!
Beeman: He's not tapping, he's tagging himself in!
LeRay: WHAT?!
Tembleberry makes the save and Haberdashery is again distracted, allowing Thorin to grab the knuckles off the apron. Meanwhile Caine is back to his feet and is going after Tembleberry, who evades Conor's attempted grabs.
LeRay: Look! By the ropes! Taylor Thorin just passed the brass knuckles to Earl Jackson!
Beeman: You lie! That's just a pep talk!
Finally, Caine is able to trap Tembleberry in a corner and hits him with some back elbows to stun him. He hits an overhead belly to belly to send Tembleberry into the middle of the ring and then sits back in the corner, waiting for Tembleberry to get up.
LeRay: Tembleberry gets to his feet and gets almost speared out of his shoes!!! The cover!!!
Jackson, with the brass knuckles on, decks Caine in the back of the head as Haberdashery is counting.
LeRay: The referee didn't see the brass knuckles!
Beeman: Nobody saw them because they weren't there! That was all Jackson!
LeRay: He rolls the unconscious Caine over and goes for the cover... is this it?!

Haberdashery: One! Two! Thr--KICKOUT!!!
LeRay: Conor Caine kicks out with a millisecond to spare, and Earl Jackson is enraged! He's kicking and stomping Caine in frustration!
Caine instinctively covers up from the attack before managing to catch Jackson in a drop toe hold...
LeRay: Lockdown! Caine has caught Jackson in the Lockdown! "Lord" Taylor Thorin is banging on the mat, trying to rouse Tembleberry, but his assistant is still out cold from that spear moments ago!
With no help coming, The Earl of Jackson taps and Caine lets him go - taking a moment to clutch the back of his head and check if it's bleeding. Angry, Caine gets up and signals to Jackson to get to his feet. The fans cheer...
LeRay: Caine isn't done! He wants to give Jackson a receipt for that shot with the brass knuckles!
Unseen by Caine, Thorin slides into the ring behind him with a chair and cracks the JWA Champion across the back.
Beeman: What a valiant act from His Lordship, saving The Earl of Jackson from an assault by that ingrate Caine!
Caine tenses up and drops to his knees from the impact. Thorin quickly drops the chair and gets Caine into the Kimura, locking it in tight.
LeRay: In their last encounter, Taylor Thorin got Caine in the Kimura and tried to break his arm! Caine was able to escape the move that time but it looks like he won't have the same luck this time!
Beeman: He's been lucky enough in his career, now it's time for him to get what he deserves!
LeRay: Earl Jackson is pushing Haberdashery around, refusing to let the referee intervene!
Suddenly, Mack Caliber's music hits and man himself comes rushing down to the ring. Seeing him coming, Tembleberry and Earl Jackson split, rolling out at opposite sides of the ring.
LeRay: Here comes Mack Caliber - Conor Caine's tag partner in Relentless Aggression - to even the odds!
Thorin sees Mack slide into the ring just in time to release Caine and roll out himself. Mack paces the ring as Thorin and his entourage collect themselves. Caine gets to his feet, clutching his arm, and gets to jaw jacking at Thorin as the bad guys make their way to the curtain.
Caine: Your days are numbered! I'll see you at Super Glory!!
