JWA SG 06/2023 - JWA World Tag Team Championship 4 Way

Buffalo and Thorin are both down in the center of the ring as Pierre climbs up on the apron, Chesterton climbs to the top rope...then climbs onto the shoulders of the giant!  Senton from up high onto both Chief and his Lordship!!

BEEMAN: "REFEREE, disqualify them!!  That's cheating!!!"

LERAY: "Don't be ridiculous.  Check out Caine and Mack now..."

Caine and Mack, not wanting to be outdone by Big Waves, each go to opposite corners...double flying elbowdrop onto Thorin and the Chief!!!

BEEMAN: "This is ridiculous...someone do something to help My'Lord!!!"

Caine, Mack, Pierre and Chesterton all take in the reaction from the crowd who are raucous tonight!  But that slight pause allows TGWOD to charge at Chesterton, sending the Welsh Surfer flying into his partner then out of the ring.

BEEMAN: "Yes Doom!  About time!!!  Wait, what is that idiot doing?!?"

TGWOD ignores Caine and Mack and instead picks up his own partner and powerbombs him onto Thorin!!!!!!!

LERAY: "What a display of strength from Doom there!  You're going to need a spatula to pick Thorin off the mat!"

[Duke Mongoose]

(Duke slides back into the ring and charges at DOOM)

LeRay: Running Neckbreaker Drop by Duke Mongoose takes down DOOM! Mongoose goes for the cover but... wait, who's legal?

Beeman: With Frank McCorry in charge, does it really matter?

LeRay: Duke looks furious that Frank won't make the count, so he gets up and drags the nearly lifeless body of his tag partner Thorin to the corner and makes a half-hearted tag.

Beeman: Rules is rules.

LeRay: Now Duke is legal and he goes for the cover on DOOM.

*One...Two......*

LeRay: It seems the delay gave everyone a chance to recover as EVERYONE broke up the pin attempt!

Beeman: This match has gone completely off the rails, LeRay! How is anyone going to win this thing?

[Chad Shredsbury]

LeRay. It’s a Pier Six Brawl out here, folks!

Beeman. That’s the most dangerous Pier of them all, Mick.

LeRay. Duke Mongoose is not happy about having his pin attempt broken up and he is trading some heavy blows with the JWA Champion Conor Caine!

Beeman. And Chief Buffalo is now putting the boots to Mack Caliber in the corner! Get him Chief!

LeRay. Meanwhile Doom is caught up in his… own… cape? Has he been wearing his entrance cape the entire match?

Beeman. I don’t know. He was probably distracted with all the cheese and such. At least M’Lord is back on his feet outside as Tembleberry and Earl of Jackson are tending to him.

LeRay. But Pierre has hoisted his tag team partner over his head and he launches Chesterton like a bomb to the outside, and there’s an explosion of bodies at ringside now!

Beeman. What was that for? Why are you smiling, LeRay? Only a sociopath would want to see something like that happen!

LeRay. Troglo seemed to enjoy it.

Beeman. Exactly!

[The Mean Queen Jessie Aldean]

after chesterton and lord thorin end up in a pile, doom stumbles over the ropes and knocks them down again, when they get up, buffalo throws mack caliber over the top rope and knocks them all down again.

it leaves a four man face off with buffalo, mongoose, pierre and connor.

[“The Relentless” Conor Caine]

LeRay: Each man is in a corner, and they're eyeing their competitors up like a Mexican Stand-Off...
Beeman: Who's going to make the first move?
LeRay: Buffalo signals to Conor Caine for a test of strength!

Buffalo has a hand up for Caine to his right. Caine inches his way towards Buffalo, not taking his eye off Duke, to his own right.

LeRay: Buffalo and Caine lock hands, but what's this?? Caine signals to Mongoose for a test of strength with his free hand!

Mongoose moves in to engage the test of strength, and Pierre makes his way over to complete the circle.

LeRay: And now all four men are vying for control! It's a tense battle of wills and power!

Suddenly, Buffalo yanks his arms and drags all three men into an impossible bearhug, then suplexes them overhead!

LeRay: My word!

Buffalo goes for a cover on Caine but Mack slides in for the save before rolling back to the apron. Buffalo goes for a cover on Pierre next, but Shredsbury makes the save in a similar manner. Finally Buffalo goes for a cover on Mongoose, but Thorin saves him.

LeRay: We have all men back in their respective positions for the first time all match, except for--
Beeman: DOOM, no!!

Obviously caught up in the madness, DOOM also dives into the ring to break up a pin on... nobody. Instead just pancaking his own partner, before rolling out to the apron.

LeRay: All four legal men are laid out in the ring, and their partners are recovering in their corners. If somebody can get a cover here, they might steal the match!

[Pierre The Enormous]

*with what adrenaline I have left I tag in Chesterton*

Chesterton: Take a rest big guy....

Pierre: *I grunt to show I understand*

Chesterton: Let's dance..... *Chesterton targets Buffalo with chops*

[Chad Shredsbury]

LeRay. Chesterton is firing chops an kicks in the Chief like a house of fire here! Buffalo is reeling!

Beeman. But there’s a Mongoose lying in wait! Duke grabs Shredsbury from behind, outsmarting the surfing buffoon again! And he delivers a stiff belly to back suplex, folding Shreds up like a suitcase! That’s how you retain gold in this company, LeRay!

LeRay. But Duke has more than one opponent here tonight and Chief Buffalo charges him and sends Mongoose flying clear over the top rope to the outside! Now Buffalo picks up Chesterton and sends him hard into the corner! He hits the buckle and crumpled to the canvas hard. But Conor Caine locks Buffalo into a full Nelson! Buffalo is jerking and pulling as hard as he can but the champ is somehow keeping the hold on

Beeman. Does he have the fingers locked in?! I can’t see!! He can’t lock those fingers in, Chief!

LeRay. They’re locked in! And Buffalo may just submit. But here comes his partner, TWGOD, running in for the save but he’s cut off by Mack Caliber, who pivots and hoists the big man up! We almost saw it last week. And here it is, a Magnum Slug to Doom!

Beeman. And his Lordship Taylor Thorin creeps in with a low blow from behind Mack! Talk about a magnum slug, right LeRay?

LeRay. I don’t think that makes any sense at all. But Buffalo is still locked in that full Nelson. He finally backs up, crushing Caine into the corner. But Buffalo goes down and that took a lot out of him.

Beeman. And like a true champion, Lord Taylor rushes in with a massive boot to the face of Connor Caine! What’s McCorry giving him a hard time about?

LeRay. He’s not the legal man!

Beeman. What’s that got to do with it?

LeRay. And as Thorin argues in the Sam corner he jut blasted Caine in, Pierre rolls in like a freight train and crushes both men!

Beeman. Disqualify that man, he isn’t legal! Look at this. Pierre is standing on Thorin! He’s not the legal man! Don’t count Frank.

LeRay. He isn’t counting. But Tembleberry is up on the apron just in time to get a super kick from Chesterton!

Beeman. But it was enough of a distraction to let Duke Mongoose slip in, the legal man! And he is covering Buffalo! One-two—

LeRay. Pierre hoists Mongoose up and sends him into the corner. He picks up Chesterton and throws him like a foot first lawn dart into the face of the Duke! Hang 10!

Beeman. Sweet baby Jesus don’t let this happen!

LeRay. Chesterton with the cover! One!

Beeman. No! Here comes the Earl of Jackson!

LeRay. Troglo trips him and Pierre steps on him, pinning him down like a bug. Two!

Beeman. Aww man.

LeRay. Three! And Big Waves are once again JWA Tag Team Champions!!! Pierre hoists up both Troglo and Chesterton on his shoulder to celebrate. What a moment!
