Cannons sound and the Pirate King theme plays, as Red Pirate Rogers makes his return to the ring.
LeRay: And here now comes Red Pirate Rogers, for his first in ring action since he lost the JWA title to Connor Caine.
Beeman: Such a shame, I was really hoping he would have taken a longer break...like permanently.
LeRay: Well one person who disagrees with you is Tommy End who believes Rogers was ducking a long overdue rematch with the Dutch Destroyer.
Beeman: Tommy's got a point, Rogers is certainly a coward! Just look at the lousy trick he duped poor Vinny Bambino into attempting. What a weenie!
LeRay: Wait, if Tommy disagrees with you, and you say Tommy is right...did you just admit to being wrong?
(Beeman is clearly not ready for this logical contortion)
Beeman: Hey shut up Mick, I'm getting ready for the match!
LeRay: Now we're just waiting on the arrival of Tommy End...

*As Tommy End’s entrance music begins to play, the Flying Dutchman walks out of the entrance. Tommy’s wearing a new attire, dark green Vale Tudo shorts in contrast with the Crimson Corsair’s customary shade of red.*
LeRay: Tommy End has made it very apparent that he’s back to fight Red Pirate Rogers, and now the Dutch Destroyer will finally get that opportunity.
Beeman: Tommy baited Red into accepting this challenge perfectly. And after Tommy took Red’s protege Vinny Bambino out in their last match, Tommy has even more of a mental edge than usual.
LeRay: I don’t know if he does have that mental edge. That roll up in Tommy’s match with Vinny nearly got the job done, and that’s how he lost to Red in their last encounter.
Beeman: I’m sure Tommy wasn’t rattled by a simple near fall.
LeRay: I guess we’ll find out, as Tommy enters the ring, that signature devious grin on his face.

*The bell rings and the match begins, with both men getting in each other’s faces. Tommy asks for a test of strength, which Red accepts, but as soon as it’s initiated the Pirate gets a kick to the gut.*
LeRay: A cheap shot from Tommy, but this is often a strategy of his.
Beeman: A strategy that tends to work more often than not. Call it what you want, but Tommy fights best when his opponent is matching his level of aggression.
LeRay: Tommy walks up to Rogers, but Rogers quickly grabs Tommy and rolls him up in a small package pin! A kickout at 1 from Tommy, and Red eats a fist square to the jaw for his troubles.
Beeman: As much as I dislike Red Pirate Rogers, I can see his strategy here. Tommy is dangerous when he’s mad, but if Red can himself keep his composure he can out think his opponent instead of having to beat him by more conventional means.
LeRay: You heard something rare there, folks. Unbiased commentary from Sean Beeman.
Beeman: I’m always unbiased. Except when people I don’t like are fighting.

LeRay: Rogers is staggered by that shot to the kisser and Tommy presses the advantage.
Beeman: please, you heard that both the ladies in our next match shot him down…that ugly mug isn’t kissing anything but canvas tonight.
LeRay: Tommy continuing with closed fist strikes and he earns an admonishment from the ref, Panther Haberdashery. Tommy shrugs it off and, oh my, drags Rogers’ face against the top rope!
Beeman: might rearrange those features a little bit…
LeRay: Tommy lets him up but a leg sweep and Rogers is down. Tommy drops to one knee and, yes an ankle lock on Rogers, but the pirate is right next to the ropes….but Tommy isn’t letting go! He is supposed to release a hold.
Beeman: he’s supposed to try to win, and if you listened to me once in a while you know this is great strategy to do just that!
(We see Tommy finally letting go and and looking defiantly at Haberdashery as the ref says “I’ve warned you!” Tommy spits back “oh he’s fine…ain’t ya Red?” Then shoving his opponents head into the mat. In close up, Rogers does look increasingly angry.)

Tommy gets off of Red and sneers as Red pushes up. When Rogers gets to all fours, Tommy gives him a kick to the gut. A chorus of boos begin
LeRay: Fans are starting to let Tommy know they don't appreciate this behavior
Beeman: I think they're all practicing their cattle calls, rodeo's in town next week.
LeRay: Would you stop?
Beeman: I could but it would be pretty boring with only one of us talking.
LeRay: Tommy continues to press the advantage every time Rogers starts to get back up. These vicious tactics aren't going to win him any friends.
Beeman: As long as they win the match, I doubt Tommy would care. I know I wouldn't.
(Tommy reaches and grabs Rogers head, pulling him up into standing and then giving an eye rake to stagger Rogers. He gives another and Red backs up to the ropes)
LeRay: Rogers in trouble here, short arm clothesline and Rogers goes over the top!
Beeman: If Tommy had done that back in last summer's battle royale, we could have avoided that whole Rogers championship debacle!
LeRay: A long history between these two to be sure, and now, Tommy End steps through the ropes looking to continue the fight outside, and a double axe handle drives Rogers down again.
Beeman: I wish I had some popcorn, this match has been everything I could hope for!
(Tommy gives Red a pair of knife edge chops and then makes to whip him into the barricade, but Rogers reverses it and Tommy crashes into it finally giving the pirate a breather)

Rogers rests for a moment as Tommy gets himself out of the barricade, they look at eachother for a beat and then charge into one another.
LeRay: We got a full on Donnybrook breaking out hear fans! Red Pirate Rogers trying to go toe to toe with the best pure striker in the JWA, Tommy End.
Beeman: Tommy’s got him now, Rogers can’t win like this!
(As they trade shots it becomes clear that this is Tommy’s fight, until a worn down Rogers is tossed back into the ring and Tommy follows almost laughing to himself.)

LeRay: This is absolutely the last thing you would want to see if you're a fan of Red Pirate Rogers
Beeman: Then I will, once again, thank goodness I am NOT!
LeRay: Oh please! Tommy End is coming in the ring and Red Pirate Rogers looks spent...End is practically taunting Rogers...
Beeman: I can't blame him, you've got to savor the true pleasures in life.
(Tommy advances while Rogers wobbles on his knees, Tommy lifts up Rogers face and Rogers gives the Destroyer a low blow)
LeRay: Oh my! Rogers strikes the lower abdominals!
Beeman: The LOWEST of the lower abdominals!
(Tommy winces and turns away and Rogers gets up calmly, and approaches his opponent: "I can fight dirty too, Thomas!!" He strikes another low blow and when Tommy backs up delivers a...)
LeRay: Cutlass kick! Rogers has the momentum now, but Panther Habedashery is intervening.
Beeman: Well he should, that's some disgusting behavior by the would be "champion"
LeRay: I hate to say it, but it is only fair--he warned Tommy, he's got to do the same to Rogers. Tommy's gathering himself, but what kind of match are these two going to have now?

(OOC: Sorry for the late late late post, parenting man...oof)
LeRay: Tommy End is down, but OOH! Spear! Spear! He's not out by a long shot and now Rogers is in pain.
Beeman: They're both in pain, this is brutal and this is only the first match of the night...oh boy.
LeRay: Tommy picks up Red again, slower than before. But Rogers looks like he's even more out of it after his momentum was stopped cold. Looks like Tommy's going to go for a Fade to Black!
Beeman: I'm not sure one spear's enough to stop Rogers...he's played possum before.
(Sure enough, Rogers slips free and goes for the surprise roll up)
LeRay: Rogers rolls him up!
Beeman: Oh, please, not again!
(Panther Haberdashery counts one...two...and then...the bell rings)
Beeman: Wait, what?
Wink: Here is your winner...
Beeman: NO!
Wink: Red Pirate Rogers!
(Rogers slips away as quick as he can, looking a little stunned at his good fortune. Tommy is livid, swearing he got out before the three count. Panther Haberdashery looks confused, and at ringside Wink is claiming he heard the third count, there was a third slap on the canvas. Tommy can't believe it. Panther doesn't believe it. But the match has ended in utter confusion)
