He would feud with Bret, Piper and possibly Andre. He and Andre had some heat when they were in NJPW together.

From a purely "coverage" point of view, a Bad News Brown inspired card would cover exactly 9 (of the big 4) WWE PPVs...which is kinda awesome.
As for RPRs "Paperboy" suggestion...totally for it! I played the crap out that game on my old C64!

I agree with the consensus guess (and that a Paperboy themed character would be fun), but just to go a bit less direct:
- Either a heel Doberman or Thumper Moore (you know, a bad dog?)
- A Godfather parody? (Less about the news, more about the rolled up paper?)
- A PN News parody?
I'll spare any further riffs on things like the "News" Age Outlaws...

I’m hoping for Bad News Brown. He could also feud with Hotshot and each Doberman since they were all in Stampede wrestling together. Possibly have a feud with some NJPW guys like Jordy Hess. 🙏

Y'all got my hopes up for a Bad News Allen/Brown card now, so I really hope that's what we're getting.
"Broken Trophies" feud card with Merc 80s (they feuded in Stampede, but I think the WM4 moment is the most famous)?
Definitely a feud with O'Hooligan.
Andre would be more of a tongue-in-cheek feud (kinda like Voltage/Strongarm).
I never, ever guess the new cards right based on the emoji clues. I hope you all nailed this one.

Always interesting to see what feuds they'll go with or not (For instance, Reptile Ranger and Mr. Tycoon don't have a feud despite Jake feuding with DiBiase)

I believe in Bret or Dynamite’s book reading Andre used some Inappropriate language regarding Bad News. So Bad News had the bus stopped and called Andre out to fight. Andre didn’t move and that was the end of it. Bad News was a legit Judo Olympic winner. I’ve seen videos of him and from Stampede wrestling. I believe you could add him with Haku as one of the toughest wrestlers. |
