JWA Glory Episode 167 - Women's World Championship Match

JWA Women's World Championship Match:
Daisy Turner (c) vs. Artemis

[Artemis]

LeRay: Ladies and Gentlemen, we've got one hell of a match to start this Pinnacle Finals show off, as Artemis and Daisy Turner will be battling for the JWA Women's Championship.

Beeman: One hell of a match? I'm not so sure about that. Artemis demolished Sakura at Guts & Gory, and she's barely been seen around here since.

LeRay: Are you sure about that? Artemis hasn't gone up against someone like Daisy Turner yet, and Daisy's fighting not just for her title, but for her friends.

Beeman: What good are friends in this business beyond having to carry their dead weight and constantly be looking over your shoulder should they try to backstab you.

LeRay: Oddly pessimistic, even for you.

Beeman: Look at the wrestling business, more examples of that kind of betrayal than you could count. Either way, Artemis has it right, out here for herself, and she's going to be walking out of here with the gold.

LeRay rolls his eyes as I Love The Night begins playing and Artemis makes her way to the ring, ready for a fight.

[Daisy Turner]

Barracuda plays and the JWA Women's World Champion Daisy Turner comes out alongside Sakura Watanabe. They share a hug and they walk down the ramp

LeRay: Looks like Daisy has some support

Beeman: Nope. I bet you this shows paycheck that Sakura will cause a distraction to Artemis to help Daisy retain

Daisy is in the ring across from Artemis who both are giving each other the death stare.

LeRay: Hey um Beeman, did you take the bell?

Beeman: What? No! Where is our ring bell?

Crazy by Patsy Cline plays and "The Reminiscer" Winter Hex walks out with the ring bell and an old fashioned megaphone

Winter: Ladies, I wish you the best of luck now, do battle, ACTION!

Winter rings the bell as she sits in a directors chair with a megaphone in hand.

Daisy and Artemis lock up with some extra force. Artemis shoves Daisy into the turnbuckle and holds her there, Tasha West gives the count 1, 2, 3, 4, Artemis breaks! Artemis however gives Daisy a hell of a slap

Winter: Bravo! What a slap!

LeRay: Aren't we the commentators?

Beeman: Well she's much better at this job than you are.

Daisy and Artemis lock up once again and Artemis irish whips Daisy into the turnbuckle, she walks towards her and goes to irish whip her to the other corner but Daisy counts and sends her to the turnbuckle. Daisy steps back... Handspring... Backflip... Elbow. Daisy runs back to get ready for another... Handspring.. And Artemis runs with full force and takes her down. Artemis goes for the pin 1, Kickout!

Winter: What! Someone fire that ref!

[Artemis]

LeRay: That wasn't even a two count.

Winter: That clearly should've been three.

Beeman: Yeah LeRay, clearly Winter knows what she's talking about.

Artemis drags Daisy Turner up to her feet before landing another slap across Daisy's face, sending the champ down to a knee. Daisy rushes Artemis, tackling her to the ground and proceeds to pummel her challenger with forearms to her face.

Winter: That's just heinous. Daisy really should have more decorum in this battle.

LeRay: Decorum? This is a fight.

Beeman: Ignore him Winter, he wouldn't know the first thing about decorum. Not to mention he's probably still just mad he blew the $5 million prize from Daisy's costume contest.

Artemis manages to push her away and get up to a knee. Daisy closes the distance plants Artemis with a DDT 1, 2, Kickout!

Winter: Artemis barely able to escape that blatant fast count.

Beeman: Tasha West needs to be investigated for this obscene favoritism.

LeRay: Oh brother, I can't believe either of you.

[Daisy Turner]

Winter gets off her char exits stage left momentarily

Both girls get up and Artemis gives Daisy a facebuster. She gets up again, bounces off the ropes and hits a running splash onto Daisy's back. She then goes for the STF and locks it in hard. Sakura is banging on the mat supporting Daisy. Daisy uses her flexibility to maneuver Artemis into a charlotte's web pinning position 1, 2, Kickout!

LeRay: Is Winter coming back?

Beeman: Well there she is. She should really come down here instead of sitting up at the stage

LeRay: Looks like she's brought popcorn with her. And she still has that megaphone

Artemis knees Daisy in the gut and Daisy steps back and gives her a clothesline.

Winter: C'mon Daisy! Learn to sell well.

Daisy hearing Winter's comment turns her attention to the stage where Winter is just sitting eating her popcorn. Daisy visibly confused responds with a noticeable "what?" coming from her mouth. Artemis takes the opportunity and rolls her up 1, 2, Kickout!

Artemis quickly gets into offence and gives Daisy a shining wizard as she was trying to get to her feet and goes for another pin 1, 2, Kickout!

Winter: *tisk tisk tisk* Artemis, you can do better than that

Artemis simply flips her off before clubbing Daisy's back, she changes strategies and goes for the camel clutch. Sakura yells out

Sakura: デイジー！ ロープはあなたの後ろにあります！

Daisy picks up what she is saying and slides a little to the back getting her feet to touch the rope, breaking the hold

[Artemis]

Artemis pounds the mat before delivering a flurry of stomps to Daisy's back

Beeman: Softening her up for the Bow and Arrow. Daisy's back doesn't stand a chance.

LeRay: But Daisy's still on the ropes as Tasha West separates the fighters. Artemis keeps her cool to not get dqed by pushing the ref.

Beeman: That's it Artemis, keep your head in the game and go for the kill!

Daisy gets up to her feet thanks to the separation. She gets floors Artemis with a forearm to the head. 1, 2, Kickout!

LeRay: Artemis just breaks out.

Beeman: Are you kidding me? Artemis practically got out before the 2.

[Daisy Turner]

Daisy gets up quickly and walks towards the turnbuckle. Hands on the ropes. She jumps up and hits a split legged and it connects and she goes for the pin 1, 2, Kickout!

Winter: hmmmmmm, I'm genuinely surprised.

Daisy gets up and rallies the crown. Sakura on the outside does the same. All of a sudden a hooded figure comes over the barricade and wipes out Sakura and shoves her into the steel steps. Daisy is shocked but she doesn't know who this figure is. She turns her attention back to the match where Artemis gives her a big boot.

Winter: Whaaat?! What was that? Who is that?

LeRay: I'm thinking the exact same thing

Beeman: Well at least the sides ringside are even

LeRay: Well except for the fact that Sakura is out and I'm only assuming but this thing is supporting Artemis

[Daisy Turner]

Artemis lift Daisy onto the turnbuckle getting ready for a super plex. Artemis steps onto the turnbuckle but Daisy kicks her off. Artemis catches her landing and goes back to the turnbuckle. But before she could Daisy kicks Artemis once again. Daisy then realises the positions and goes for it. She turns Artemis 180^o and is in position. She flips forward and hits The Daisy Dust! 1, 2, 3! Daisy Turner win!

LeRay: She did it! She did it! She defeated Artemis!

Winter: Bravo! Bravo! Encore! Encore! With me in it

Beeman: My only wonders are who is the figure.

Daisy has a staredown with the hooded figure before going to kick Sakura who was leading on the Steel steps. And then kicked her hand on the steps. Daisy gets out of the ring but the figure ran away towards the stage right in front of Winter who shuffles a bit to the left too see what's about to happen. The hood is coming off and it's revealed

Kazuko Jin!

Beeman: Oh my god! Kazuko Jin! Former World of SUNDOM Champion, leader of the Joshi faction. The one who defeated Sakura not long ago! The JWA Women's Division has definitely been put on notice

Winter Hex interrupts Kazuko and gives her a gold star before running off.

Daisy helps Sakura up before they walk off.
