JWA World Tag Team Championship Match - One Fall - 60 Minute Time Limit
Duke Mongoose & Penguino (c) vs. Omega Satyros & Diablo

[Duke Mongoose]

("Stay Vicious" by The Gaslight Anthem plays as Duke Mongoose and Penguino make their way through the entrance way and to the ring. They are flanked, as ever, by Johnny Kobra)

Beeman: Here come the forever champs! They look great tonight!

LeRay: Looks can be deceiving, as we know Duke had his "run-in" with a wall recently and might not be at 100%.

Beeman: Are you kidding? Big Daddy Duke runs into walls like that every day!

LeRay: He does? That might explain a few things.

Beeman: Ha Ha. Very funny.

(Duke climbs into the ring and removes his hat to reveal a comically large bandage wrapped around his head. Meanwhile, Penguino removes his Penguin Kai dogi and hands it to Johnny)

LeRay: Clearly a little worse for wear, based on the bandage, Beeman.

Beeman: I'm sure it's just some kind of tactic to get into Legado Del Infierno's heads!

LeRay: Or he's got a bump on his noggin.

Beeman: Oh just shut up already!

LeRay: The tag champs take their position in the corner after handing over the tag team titles to Referee Rothburn Sallie. We now await the arrival of the challengers.

[Omega Satyros]

"Highway To Hell" by AC/DC begins playing, with all three members of Legado Del Infierno making their way to the ring.

LeRay: Any hope of a numbers advantage are nowhere to be seen for our champions.

Beeman: What are you talking about? Our "Forever Champs" have never needed underhanded tactics like that.

LeRay: Suuuure.

Beeman: If anything, LDI are trying to do that.

Diablo enters the ring, Omega gets in the corner. Rothburn Sallie calls for the bell.

LeRay: We're underway for Tag Team Title action here at Destiny.

Diablo puts a hand out to Penguino.

[Penguino]

Penguino looks at Diablo’s hand and back at Duke, Penguino goes in for the handshake and the two interlock flippers and hands

LeRay “Some sportsmanship shown here from Penguino, but wait a minute the Diablo gets pulled in for a clothesline, what a cheap shot.”

Beeman “I suppose you are unfamiliar with the common phrase work harder not smarter.”

LeRay “I believe it’s the other way around.”

Beeman “Listen to me Mick you shut your mouth when your talking to me alright.”

Penguino sends a recovering Diablo into the corner and begins to chop him while Duke cheers from the corner.

Beeman “Look at the support from Mongoose, with this attitude they’ll never lose.”

LeRay “But not with this teamwork as Diablo just reversed one and Duke looks disgusted and tags himself in, now Penguino complains to him and Diablo drop kicks both of them over the top rope. They go tumbling to the floor and Omega is tagged in while Johnny Kobra talks to the champs but it seems like he won’t be able to finish, PLANCHA ONTO THE WHOLE TEAM FROM OMEGA! Everybody except Diablo is out of it after that and now he enters the ring, everybody else is getting up and now Diablo with a tope suicicida. We aren’t even ten minutes in and this has become complete chaos.”

[Omega Satyros]

Omega picks up Duke, rolling him in the ring before landing on him with a springboard splash. Duke manages to a kickout at 1.5

Beeman: Stupid goat, it's gonna take well more than that to put away Duke Mongoose.

LeRay: You never know, no one expected Duke to lose to Suddenly Seymour, but it happened.

Beeman: Shut it Mick, everyone knows that only happened because Earl Jackson decided to interfere.

Omega drags Duke up to his feet before sending him into the corner. Diablo tags in and they join together in stomping on Duke.

Beeman: Come on Sallie. What are you here to do?

[Duke Mongoose]

(As the referee breaks up the action and escorts Omega back to his corner, Duke takes the opportunity to jam a thumb into Diablo's eye)

LeRay: As usual, Duke takes advantage of the situation to take a shortcut.

Beeman: You can't argue with success, LeRay!

LeRay: Duke continues with a series of Mongolian Chops to Diablo. Two. Three. Four! Five! SIX CHOPS!

Beeman: He's going to chop off Diablo's head, just wait!

LeRay: Diablo is down to one knee and Duke crosses the ring, off the ropes, and nails Diablo with the Running Neckbreaker Drop! Cover by Mongoose but Diablo is out at one. Ionian Nerve Grip now applied by Mongoose and Diablo is in trouble!

Beeman: Satyros is rallying these fans but it won't do any good! Diablo is done for! Champs retain!

[Omega Satyros]

Diablo dropped to the map, dragging Duke down with him. Duke ends up going head first into the turnbuckle.

LeRay: Both men are down. Who'll get the tag in first?

Beeman: Again, Legado Del Infierno trying to get an unfair advantage.

Diablo uses the ropes to drag himself back to his feet, the fans cheering behind him. He picks up Duke, planting him with Shattered Skulls.

LeRay: That might be it with Duke's self-inflicted head injury.

Beeman: Penguino slides under the bottom rope, beak jabbing into Diablo's side just as he tries for the pin.

LeRay: Diablo's reaching for the tag as Penguino tries to drag Duke to the corner. They both get the tag!

Omega and Penguino rush into the ring. Penguino ducks a shot from Omega. Omega jumps over a sliding kick. Penguino nails a kick to the back of Omega's leg, sending him to his knees. He hits the ropes to deliver a clothesline, but Omega catches him and delivers a body slam. Penguino's quickly back up as him and Omega begin peppering each other with punches.

LeRay: Fantastic work from both these men. Who'll get the upper hand?

Beeman: Obviously it's going to be Penguino.

LeRay: I wouldn't be so sure if I were you Beeman.

[Penguino]

LeRay “It seems Penguinos flipper punches aren’t very effective since he’s used to chopping and Omega send ‘Guino down with a big forearm.”

Beeman “Penguino get up you’re letting your partner down.”

LeRay “It seems Omega is looking to capitalize and he goes near Penguinos head looking to mount him for more punches but no the humanoid penguin pokes him in the eye with a flipper, how’d he do that without fingers.”

Beeman “Penguino manages the impossible when it’s most needed.”

LeRay “Omega is in deep trouble here as now his back is facing the standing Penguino and he gets a German suplex for his troubles.”

Beeman “And more troubles for him as now Big Daddy Duke is tagged back in and look at this elbows to the back of the neck from the mastermind capitalizing in possible injuries from the suplex.”

[Omega Satyros]

Duke tries to go for the pin, but Omega kicks out at 2. Duke tries to finish the match by locking in the Cobra Clutch, but Omega manages to grab the ropes, flipping Duke as he climbed up.

LeRay: Not sure we've seen that reversal from Duke's deadliest move.

Beeman is flabbergasted, unsure if he saw what everyone saw. Omega gets up to the top rope, and goes for the Satyr Sault. Duke manages to roll out of the way. Duke is a head of steam as he looks to charge into Omega. He nails Omega, practically speaking him through the ropes out to barely padded floor.

Beeman: That's more like it. Legado Del Infierno doesn't stand a chance now.

Duke makes his way to his feet, only to be taken out by Diablo delivering a cannonball from the apron. Black Cat is trying to get Omega back into the matchup as Johnny Kobra makes his way behind him. Black Cat delivers a swift punch to Kobra to keep him from messing with Omega.

[Duke Mongoose]

(OOC: Posted almost the same time, so I've edited to make it make more sense)

Beeman: Keep that buffoon in the cat mask away from the match! He may have injured poor Johnny Kobra who was just minding his own business!

LeRay: Just minding his own business? Are you hearing yourself?

Beeman: I can't listen to myself when you're yapping!

LeRay: Omega is back in the ring and Duke follows under the bottom rope. Omega is looking to maintain the advantage but Duke catches him with a jawbreaker! Omega is staggered and Duke scoops him up and slams him to the mat with a textbook body slam. Now Duke is pointing to the corner.

Beeman: Big Daddy Duke doesn't go to the ropes very often, but when he does you know he means business.

LeRay: Duke ascends to the second rope, some say the most dangerous rope, and comes off for a falling reverse elbow smash but Omega rolls out of the way! Duke is stunned and gets lit up by a Satyr Kick! Satyros tags in Diablo who immediately levels Duke as he gets back to his feet with a dropkick!

Beeman: Oh no! This can't be part of the plan, even though I wish it was!

LeRay: Diablo has Mongoose reeling, and now he gets a start off the ropes and goes for a swinging headscissors - NO! Duke puts on the brakes, and has Diablo in a compromised position - OH MY! Jumping Tombstone Piledriver by Duke Mongoose!

Beeman: Well that certainly turned the tides in this match!

LeRay: Duke drags Diablo away from Omega and a possible tag, lifts him up off the mat and drives him down into the mat with a Jumping Piledriver!

Beeman: Like I said at the top, Diablo is going to wish he stayed retired, although after that fall he might not have a choice!

LeRay: Duke goes for the cover, but Diablo gets a foot on the ropes! Duke tags Penguino back in and all Omega can do is try to rally his partner to make the tag.

Beeman: I get the feeling this is the end, LeRay.

[Omega Satyros]

Duke: CALL YOUR GRANDM...

Omega, familiar with Duke's Cobra Clutch, rushed the ring, followed swiftly by Penguino. Penguino's speed got him to Omega before Omega could get to Duke. Omega managed to catch Penguino before launching him into Duke, sending both to the mat.

LeRay: That would've possibly been all she wrote if Omega hadn't stopped it.

Beeman: What makes that goat think he can just do that? Sallie, do you job and call for the DQ.

LeRay: Omega's getting back in his corner, so no DQ needed.

Diablo manages to drag himself to the corner, tagging Omega in. He rushes the ring, throwing Penguino out to the floor. He picks up Duke, delivering a Devil's Kiss to him. He goes for the pin, only for Johnny Kobra to drag his leg under of ropes. Black Cat confronts him as the Sallie calls a rope break. Black Cat plants Kobra with a Lights Out, getting an Ice Breaker from Penguino for his trouble.

Beeman: That serves that cat-masked idiot right.

LeRay: Kobra shouldn't have gotten involved if he didn't want to get hit for it.

[Duke Mongoose]

(OOC: It's the COBRA CLUTCH, not Camel Clutch. It's a goof. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi? Mongoose vs. Cobra? ANYONE?)

LeRay: Duke appears to complaining about... something... to the official, but he leaves himself open to Pan Pipes from Satyros!

Beeman: That's a dirty trick! Penguino! Save your papa!

LeRay: Penguino's papa is Papaguino, not Duke!

Beeman: It's a figure of speech!

[Omega Satyros]

(OOC: My bad on that one, got it fixed)

Omega locked in the Pan Pipes as Pwnguino rushed the ring. Diablo intercepted him, locking Pwnguino in Pagan Ways.

Beeman: Sallie! This can't be legal!

LeRay: This is all above the board Sean.

Beeman: Damnit Kobra, get up! Your charges need your help.

LeRay: I don't think Kobra getting up for a while. Black Cat's Lights Out is brutal to take.

Beeman: Kobra has a better chance of getting up than Black Cat does.

LeRay: Doesn't matter if either Pwnguino or Duke can't get out in time.

[Duke Mongoose]

(Just as it looks like Duke is going to tap out, Penguino miraculously breaks up the Pagan Ways and crashes into Duke and Satyros, breaking the Pan Pipes)

Beeman: Great job, Penguino!

LeRay: Duke and Penguino hold onto their titles for the moment, but this match isn't over yet! Penguino with a baseball slide dropkick knocks Diablo out of the ring, but Omega has Mongoose set up for something - NO! Duke with a back body drop! And now Duke is shouting to Penguino to go up top!

Beeman: You said the match isn't over yet, but it's going to be over soon if Duke has in mind what I think he has in mind!

LeRay: Penguino has mounted the top turnbuckle and Duke plants Omega once again with a body slam. Duke climbs onto the second turnbuckle and Penguino is getting on his shoulders? Duke carefully ascends to the top turnbuckle, precariously standing on the top rope.

Beeman: Here it comes, LeRay!

LeRay: Duke now presses Penguino over his head! Duke launches Penguino toward Omega on the mat!

Beeman: It's the ATOMIC FLYING PENGUIN!

LeRay: Can Satyros avoid this devastating attack?

[Duke Mongoose]

Beeman: No, he can't!

LeRay: Penguino crashes down onto Satyros with the Atomic Flying Penguin, and here's the cover while Duke Mongoose blocks Diablo from getting back into the ring!

*One...Two......Three!*

Beeman: I told you that the goat man and the demon never had a chance!

LeRay: Indeed, Duke Mongoose and Penguino have managed yet another successful title defense. But now what's next for Legado Del Infierno?

Beeman: Who cares?!?!

(Duke hoists Penguino onto his shoulders like a father carries their son and takes a victory lap around the ring, both men proudly waving their tag team title belts as the fans boo in displeasure)
