I have a number of comments, questions, observations, etc. I'm just going to put them all here as I go.
The past few times I played I used the classic freestyle booking. So I thought I'd try linear for a change. I made it halfway through my second year and started over with freestyle again. Beef Buffalo was my current TV champion. He and Hairy won the tag team tournament. The very next show has a mic spot for the #1 contenders for the tag team titles. Because beef was my TV champion, I was not allowed to use him even though the TV title was not being defended at the P4V.
One thing I love about Modern Mania is being able to pick from all P4Vs every month. I run a P4V schedule very similar to WWE where the Battle Royale winner in January goes to Champ Clash in April. So I move March Madness to July and the winner goes to Summer Smash. Having the ability to move my men's tournament to July in 80s Mania would be cool.
I didn't buy Turducken when he got moved to the daily shop. Now my daily shop is empty again. Did he get moved back to the exclusive shop?
The "attitude era" starts fully in game in 1995, but Bandsaw Buck isn't available until 1997. What was the reasoning behind this?
I know 80s Mania has almost triple the amount of Feuds that Modern has, but there's still some wrestlers that don't have feuds. Some kind of custom feud feature would make me want to use some wrestlers I don't normally use
There are a number of singles and tag team feuds based around the Star Wars characters. So when the 6 man feud "warring stars" was added, I was hoping it would be a +2* feud like the other 6 man feuds in game. With it being +1*, it's no more important or special than any of the other feuds you can pick when booking those matches.
That's enough for now. I've been playing both games since 2020, and I've thoroughly enjoyed both. I love that the developers are so open to fan interaction on ways to improve the games. As I keep playing, I'll find more observations to bring to the board
