Not sure if this is the right board nut just a quick question...
I've invested a lot of time into my first playthrough on 80's. I'm tempted to 'carry on' to Modern Wrestling but... aside from some characters like Undermaster being in both games, does your save from 80's Mania transfer over to Modern at all?
I'm thinking things like title stats basically. I'd like the Modern Game to know Tatters Gage was the best cruiserweight Champ of all time as he bursts into Modern, but if Modern is a complete fresh start for everything... Well. Not sure I'm going to jump over.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this.

The only way your specific 80s save carries over into Modern is with achievements. You get game cash for owning specific characters in each game. There is no sort of continuity past that.

Thank you Skullgore, just what I needed to know.

Yeah they're two separate games, although as Skully said there are some linked achievements. But it means you can play both at the same time.

I just pretend it’s set about a decade or 2 in the future. I think you gotta use your imagination with a lot of things in these games

If you haven't started your next playthrough, and you want to remember some of those stats, I suggest taking screen shots and/or creating a spreadsheet to keep records. Once you restart the next playthrough, and I may be wrong with all the changes made to the game, I believe everything resets from your last playthrough as far as championships go. You do retain your money/tokens earned and any skill points earned on your cards though.
