Greetings, grapple fans!
It would seem that the JWA finds itself in the grip of a power struggle, as last week we witnessed the formation of Domination Inc., the new group consisting of "Relentless" Conor Caine, Omega Satyros, "The Debonair" Mack Caliber & "The Reminiscer" Winter Hex. They have made their mission statement clear: they want to do away with the so-called "old guard" of JWA. They've been blind-side attacking members of the JWA roster, but how will they fare tonight when they have to face World Heavyweight Champion Arizona Chance & the World Tag Team Champions The Pirates OF DOOM in a fair fight? This may be the first of many battles in this war.
(The polls will be open for at least 24 hours. It doesn't matter who you vote for, just that you participate!)
Elsewhere in JWA, Penguino defeated his former tag team partner Duke Mongoose last week, albeit with a minor assist from Johnny Kobra. While I'm sure Penguino is ready to move on to other things, I doubt that Duke is going to let this one slide.
We saw a message from "Lord" Taylor Thorin on our screens last week and he promised to return here tonight and outline his future quest here in JWA. I can't wait to hear what his Lordship has to say.
Lady Diana Gallus has requested to meet Women's World Champion Daisy Turner face to face here tonight. Will the champion accept?
Troglo is indeed planning to return to the ring, but who will his first opponent be? And will Pierre The Enormous be with him?
Let's get this show underway. Get out there and work your gimmick!

The arena darkens as cannon fire lights up the stage and “Accordion” plays out as the swashbuckling tag team champions appear, rapier and blunder buss in hands. They make their way to the ring.
LeRay: It’s time for the main event, and notable already is the lack of running by DOOM. Could it be Rogers has actually gotten through to him the importance of this contest?
No sooner does LeRay finish his sentence than DOOM swipes a drink from a young fan and bolts for the ring, cape flapping person after person in the face.

(After all the Adventurers of DOOM make their entrance)
"Satyr" by Andromeda plays and Omega steps out, sporting a tailored blazer, he has a steely glare as all the AoD wait for the rest of Domination Inc. to make their presence known.
LeRay: The only thing we've seen from these guys as a group is Conor Caine joining Omega in his assault on Diablo after their match at Crash Carnival. Is Domination Inc. as in sync as they claim to be?
Beeman: Are the Adventurers of DOOM? At least Conor Caine and Omega have shown an ability to coexist, Arizona and DOOM have only ever been on opposite sides of the ring.

The lights on the entrance flash on and off in time to an obnoxious beat blaring, as suddenly as it starts it’s cut off and the lights cut out before a voice over the PA shouts: “I TALK A LOT OF **** BUT I CAN BACK IT ALL THE **** UP!”
The lights come back up and the fans boo to see Conor Caine standing in front of the curtain, barely able to contain his glee at their revulsion - he looks around them laughing as his new entrance music, “Cheat Code” by Sage Francis, plays.
LeRay: This guy! Arizona Chance was right about Conor Caine - he was a man of moral character and he turned his back on it!
Beeman: I know! It’s great, isn’t it?!
LeRay: I’m not surprised that you’d approve of his new direction!
Beeman: You heard what Caine said earlier: Domination, Inc. is a Stable of likeminded people who respect and support each other - that sounds like just the Hippy Dippy crap you love!
LeRay: Domination, Inc. might respect and support each other, but people like Red Pirate Rogers, Arizona Chance and even The Greatest Wrestler Of DOOOOOM respect and support everybody, including their opponents!
Beeman: And that’s why Conor Caine, Mack Caliber, Omega Satyros and Winter Hex deserve to reign over the rest of the locker room!
By this stage Caine has made it to the ring and is up on a turnbuckle, jeering at the fans. He drops down and gives Omega a fistbump as they wait for Mack to arrive.
Beeman: I hope Winter Hex is coming down to support her teammates - I have a chair set aside especially for her.
LeRay: It’s gonna be a long night…

*Prior to the main event*
(Toni Cruise is backstage in front of a JWA banner)
Toni: Fans, please welcome my guest at this time, Duke Mongoose.
(Duke steps into the shot, dressed in a blinding pink and yellow outfit)
Toni: Duke, unfortunately you came up short last week in your match against Penguino-
Duke: Let me stop you right there, Toni Spumoni. Anyone with functioning eyes could see that the only reason I lost last week was because of that Kobra clown getting involved. It's no secret that Kobra and I have issues going way back, but I had that match won if it wasn't for him. Penguino! This isn't over between us, not by a long shot! I don't know where or when, but I'm challenging you to a rematch with your buddy Kobra banned from ringside. Then Big Daddy Duke will show the world who REALLY carried our team the whole time!
Toni: We'll see if Whistler puts that match together, but while I've got you here, what are your thoughts on the newly formed Domination, Inc.?
Duke: Seems like a bunch of Johnny-Come-Latelys banding together because they know that on their own they can't match up to someone as awesome as Big Daddy Duke.
Toni: Thank you for your time. Mick and Sean, let's send it back to you.
(Duke poses like a jerk as the shot fades back to ringside)

OOC: GREAT new entrance music, Caine.
Hysteria by Muse begins to play as the arena goes dark. A single spotlight silhouettes Arizona Chance as he holds aloft the JWA Championship. Then, as the full band kicks in, the arena is awash in white light as Arizona heads to the ring.
BEEMAN: Finally! The champ is here!
LERAY: You sound overly excited that Chance is on his way down to the ring.
BEEMAN: I’ve been waiting all week to see him. The chance to see him get beat up by not one, not two, but three guys? This is a rare opportunity!
LERAY: As we await the rest of the combatants, let me remind you, Sean, that Arizona defeated Conor Caine for that world title, and in his previous title defense, won over both Omega Satyros and Mack Caliber.
BEEMAN: And they were both travesties of justice!
LERAY: Here comes our next competitor…

The love theme from Romeo and Juliet begins to play as I open the curtain. I hear the boos, and bow majestically. I then slowly move down the aisle, and on my left, I see a young woman swoon due to my dashing good looks and start to faint. Being the debonair man I am, I rush to her, where her father is holding her up, and grab a soda from a nearby fan and splash it on her face. She immediately revives, but instead of being thanked by her father, he curses me. That is the way of the uncultured.
I meet my teammates in the ring as we await the most uncultured, boorish one of the bunch…

We are in a fancy restaurant setting where we have the JWA Women's World Champion, Daisy Turner being escorted to a seat, she is confused as to why Lady Diana Gallus requested to meet with her face to face and why she decided to meet her in a fancy restaurant. She waits for a bit then decides to order something. She decides to order some Ravioli with some sauce to go on top while she waits for Miss Gallus. Surprisingly her meal is ready and there is no sign of Diana
Daisy: I guess she's just fashionably late, oh well time to dig in
She starts to eat her meal while she waits for Lady Diana Gallus. Wondering what the conversation could be about. Maybe a shot at the titles? Suggesting a team up? Who knows? All we know is that she has something to do with Artemis so Daisy will have to keep her guard up, but it's so hard with the yummy Ravioli in front of her.

LeRay: Well I must ask, where have you been. You were practically absent for a while
Winter: Well if you must know, I was taking some earned rest and relaxation. Every future champ should do so y'know just so they can get their mindset in the correct place. But then again Mick, loser like you wouldn't understand, don't you agree Beeman?
Beeman: Full on agree with you. I see you've brought 2 champagne glasses, one for you and the other for...
Winter: You obviously! Bruce *snaps fingers* (Bruce pours them both glass of champagne)
LeRay: What about me?!
Winter: *sigh* Orange?
LeRay: Not a big citrus guy
Winter: Well, your lose *chucks it into the crowd* any ways, let's get this show on the road. Lights Camera, Action!

Diana: My apologies Miss Turner. I intended for our meeting to be in the JWA ring, and my staff failed to mention setting up reservations here until I got to JWA Studios for the show. I was hoping to touch base with you about the current status of the JWA Women's Divison, with Artemis being in sabbatical, Winter Hex being otherwise preoccupied, and Jessie Aldean remaining unseen since losing the title. But first, let's enjoy the meal my staff worked so hard to get arranged.

The bell rings, and Omega starts the action against DOOM. DOOM attempts to overpower Omega but he delivers a swift kick to DOOM's leg.Beeman: The big man already didn't have much going for him mobility wise, take a leg out and he might not be able to move at all!
LeRay: Omega's definitely using a much more vicious strategy now that he's taken a turn for the worse.
Beeman: It's absolutely a turn for the better, this guy went from abject mediocrity in Legal Del Inferno to the company of greatness in Domination Inc.
Omega begins to deliver brutal knee strikes to DOOM before dragging him over and making a tag.

Beeman: Is he injured or having an asthma attack?
His shenanigans have caught the attention of Domination Inc, however, as all three men stare, perplexed, at DOOM, who never stops writhing and wheezing.

LeRay: While there's a break in the action, I've just been notified that Kip has made the main event for the June 11/12 Super Glory official. It will be Arizona Chance defending the World Heavyweight Championship against... is this right? Really?
Beeman: Spit it out, LeRay!
LeRay: Arizona Chance will defend his title against Winter Hex!
Beeman: That's incredible news! Winter, did you hear that?
(Winter appears to faint at the announcement. Bruce the Butler rushes to her aid as Beeman fans her)

DOOM rolls around on the mat on pain, wheezing and coughing uncontrollably. Beeman: Is he injured or having an asthma attack? His shenanigans have caught the attention of Domination Inc, however, as all three men stare, perplexed, at DOOM, who never stops writhing and wheezing. When Domination Inc pauses to laugh and mock DOOM, the old Adventurers team takes the opportunity to launch a surprise attack. A pair of drop kicks knock Connor and Mack over the top rope, and before he knows what’s happening, Omega is grabbed by DOOM for a belly to belly suplex. DOOM pops up…then hunches over again, winded. |
