Salutations, grappling aficionados!
We are in a new era here in JWA following the events of Super Glory, and what a way to kick off this new era than by settling an old score? Tonight's main event pits "Killie's Crew" of Pierre The Enormous & Troglo against Domination, Inc.'s "The Closer" Omega Satyros & The Black Cat. We had a match between Troglo and Cat a few weeks back that didn't resolve anything, so tonight they've each got a partner and we're going to try to settle this thing once and for all.
(The polls will be open for at least 24 hours. It doesn't matter who you vote for, just that you participate!)
I mentioned a new era, and that is because at Super Glory "The Reminiscer" Winter Hex became the World Heavyweight Champion. That's right, we have crowned the first female World Heavyweight Champion in JWA history, and she defeated The Franchise of JWA Arizona Chance to do it. Sure, she had assistance from the other members of Domination, Inc. and Bruce The Butler, but don't let the facts get in the way of history, am I right? All eyes are now on the champion and who the first challenger to her crown will be.
All eyes, that is, except for those still shedding tears following Arizona Chance's retirement. I can honestly say many of the members of the roster as well as the JWA faithful were shaken by Arizona's decision to leave his boots in the ring following his defeat at Super Glory. Chance earned his nickname of "The Franchise" and had a Hall of Fame worthy career. He will be missed in the ring, but he'll be joining Dyno and Yuppie VP as part of our crew here and at the Power Station wrestling school. Don't be surprised if you see Chance in a three piece suit rushing to break up a fight here and there!
While we did crown a new champion at Super Glory, the result was unfortunately less satisfying in the World Tag Team Championship match. Domination, Inc.'s team of The Alpha & Omega, that being "Relentless" Conor Caine & "The Closer" Omega Satyros ended up having to settle for a double count out against our champs The Pirates OF DOOM when The Greatest Wrestler OF DOOM pinned everyone down outside the ring with what could generously be described as a plancha. I'm sure Domination, Inc. will be looking for another opportunity at the belts, and I know that at least Red Pirate Rogers will be ready to fight again. I can't be so sure about DOOM.
Daisy Turner was also able to successfully retain her Women's World Championship, but unlike the tag champs she was actually victorious over her opponent. Lady Diana Gallus gave Daisy a hell of a fight, but in the end Daisy unleashed a new maneuver and caught the challenger for a three count. Who will be next to challenge Daisy Turner? What's next for Lady Diana? Where is Artemis after all this time?
Did Duke Mongoose beat Penguino in a "fair fight" at Super Glory with Johnny Kobra suspended above the ring in a shark cage? Oh heavens, no. Duke tried to break every rule in the book and was still handily defeated by Penguino and his Flying Penguin. While this means Penguino will be moving on to bigger and better things, what does this mean for Duke? I'm sure we'll be hearing from him during tonight's broadcast.
We've got plenty of action, plus we expect to hear from "The Debonair" Mack Caliber and "Lord" Taylor Thorin!
Let's get this show started! Get out there and work your gimmick!

LeRay: and here we are for our main event. Troglo and Pierre look to take out a pair of thorns in their side in the form of Omega Satyros and Black Cat, and maybe make waves in the tag title scene.
Beeman: They don't stand a chance, prepping for this match in a knock-off gym in the Killie's storeroom. Both of them have had one single match since the J-1 Pinnacle. Omega and Black Cat are looking in the shape of their lives since shedding the massive load of dead weight of the "Killie's Crew"
LeRay: They better be in the shape of their lives, considering the roughly 700 pounds they're up against. The weight advantage doesn't mean everything in this business, but a 2:1 in the weight advantage is going to make a major difference.
Beeman: You know what I think is going to make a difference, the chemistry working together. Troglo was abandoned by Pierre basically from the time the issues in Big Waves started cropping up, and it was Omega who was there for him. It's honestly shameful that Pierre has convinced Troglo that he views him as anything more than a bit of amusement for a night of drinking. They don't have anything close to what Omega and Black Cat have.

"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC begins playing and Omega and Black Cat make their way down to the ring to a deluge of boos.

*Cavemen Rejoice blares through the arena as Troglo and I make our way to the ring and Huggy is on my back*
Beeman: Oh great the bear is with them...
Huggy: I HEARD THAT *he glares daggers right into Beeman's soul*
Pierre: You gonna be okay Troglo?
Troglo: *nods* Puny goat man... puny kitten hurt friends... Troglo... hurt... both...
Pierre: *I scratch my back with the ring ropes and Troglo does the same*

"Pirate King" sounds as Red Pirate Rogers makes his way down to the commentary desk. (OOC: hope you don't mind Red, letting you get out to the ring rather than having to make the entrance mid match.)
The bell rings and Black Cat starts off the match against Pierre the Enormous, who immediately flattens him out with a brutal right hand.
LeRay: You know Beeman, you were saying how Pierre and Troglo weren't going to be ready for this match, but Omega and Black Cat were the ones busy with other business while the Killie's Crew has been full focused on tonight.
Beeman: It's not their fault Pierre and Troglo are showcasing precisely zero championship ambition. This whole thing started because Black Cat was trying to give Troglo a friendly face to work with in his return match, and he decided to due exactly what Omega's been pointing out. All the old guard on the roster has had it out for him for the "heinous crime" of not letting Diablo use him and throw him away when he was done.
Pierre picks up Black Cat for a big power slam, but he manages to shift his weight during the move to knock Pierre on his back, hooking his legs around Pierre's arm in an armbar. Pierre landed a few clubbing blows to break the hold, rubbing his arm as if he had just bumped it against a keg.
LeRay: It's going to take a near perfect match of that agility for Omega and Black Cat to take out Pierre and Troglo. I can't see them not succumbing to the power advantage.
Black Cat was faster to his feet, and managed to get to the ropes to tag in Omega. The Closer rushed the ring, peppering Pierre with a series of kicks and forearms, looking to wear down the giant.

Let's get this show started! Get out there and work your gimmick! Conor Caine made a mockery of Arizona Chance’s tribute show this past weekend on Mania. It was cheap stunt - which shouldn’t be a surprise from somebody in this gaudy attire - and the JWA fans are letting him know what they think. Beeman: Since he came back from injury, Conor Caine has done nothing but speak truth to power and these sheep can’t stand somebody who breaks from the herd! LeRay: It’s a flock, Sean, not a herd! Conor greets the fans’ ”A**hole” chants with derision as he laughs his way to the ring, where he calls for a mic.Caine: Like the amount of time The Pirates of DOOM have left as Tag Team Champions, I’m gonna keep this brief for you braindead jerks: Domination, Inc told you that a change was coming! We told you were going to excise the deadweight in the JWA, and you saw last week on Super Glory that we weren’t kidding when we ran the biggest deadweight of all out of the company: Arizona Chump! A bottle of soda just misses Conor, though he doesn’t acknowledge it at all, as the fans boos turn into chants for Arizona.
LeRay: Let’s not forget Arizona Chance is a wrestler Conor Caine admired his whole life and, when they came face to face in their only match, Conor Caine submitted to The Franchise - the only man Conor Caine has tapped out to in his entire career! So who’s the real chump?! Caine: Good news for you drooling hangers-on: just like all the frauds backstage in the JWA, Arizona Chance couldn’t resist taking a paycheck for doing next to nothing, so he’s landed a cushy office job with the rest of the dregs who couldn’t stand next to the new generation of talent here in JWA; you’ll see him hanging out backstage with Yuppie VP and Dyno, sipping vending machine coffee and talking about the good old days when you marks didn’t know what good wrestling actually looked like! “You suck” chats break out, but Conor just smirks at them and chuckles to himself.Caine: But you can’t deny what good wrestling actually looks like any more, because Domination Inc is here and we are undeniable! Which is the perfect note to introduce you to the crown jewel of Domination Inc: please welcome, the most powerful woman in the world, the Queen of professional wrestling, and the new JWA Heavyweight Champion of The Woooooooorrrrrld! “The Reminiscer” Winter Hex!!! Music plays however this time it's different. Now playing was "God Save The Queen" and soon 4 Men would walk out carrying a throne that was sat on by none other than the new JWA World Champion, "The Reminiscer" Winter Hex. Who has her new shiny piece of gold on one hand and the other hand, queen waving towards the audience who was booing her like crazy. But in her vision, she sees hundreds & Thousands of people cheering her. She fought the good fight and retired a fake actor. She continues to wave towards the crowd and blow kisses until they reach the ring where they lower it slightly and she hopes off and into the ring where she request the mic from Conor who gives it to her. The music stops and all you can here are the many people around the world booing her.
Winter starts to tear up and she uses her free hand to dry the tears away as she begins her speech
Winter: This is truly, one of the greatest moments of my life. I can't, I just can't *sniff* I always though, as a little girl, that I would one day, be on top of the world, and look at me. I have now reached that peak. *sniff* I stand here as your new JWA World Champions and none of this *sniff* couldn't of been done without the help of y- oh wait a minute. I didn't need your help. I had, minor help from the Domination Inc. But in the end, it was my hand being raise as the victor and now I am at the peak of this company. With the Domination Inc. By my side, WE now rule this company and this is only the beginning. Omega, I wish you good luck as you take down those two fatties and soon those Tag Titles will be around the waist of the Domination Inc. And you may ask, well what about the Women's Championship? Well it's doesn't matter since it's probably going to be retired soon once Daisy runs all the competition out of the company and she knows better than to step to us. Now while I stand here as your Queen, I have the power to knight all those I please an while Omega is busy, preparing for his match and Mack is somewhere. All I have here is Bruce and Conor. So shall we begin?
One of the throne carriers gives her a large case that contains a sword. She takes it out, meanwhile, Conor Caine and Bruce The Butler bend down, awaiting to be knighted. Winter first goes up to Bruce The Butler. Winter taps the sword on their shoulders and officially knights him
Winter: Arise, Sir Bruce. You are no longer just a Butler, you are a special knight. Your services and contributions have gone recognised and you are congratulated by yours truly.
Winter now goes to Conor Caine and give him the same treatment
Winter: Arise, no longer are you "Relentless" Conor Caine, you shall now be "The Charismatic" Conor Caine. Arise, Sir Caine. As for Mack and Omega, not to worry, once you are founded by myself, you both shall be knighted at the latest moment, thank you and good evening!
"God Save The Queen" plays once again and "The Charismatic" Conor Caine helps the champ back on the throne as she is carried away, she waves goodbye.

(The camera cuts to the back where Honest Sal is standing with Duke Mongoose in front of the JWA banner) Honest Sal: It would seem our new World Heavyweight Champion fancies herself royalty. Fans, I'm joined by "Big Daddy Duke" Duke Mongoose. Things certainly didn't go your way at Super Glory, now did they? Duke: SALLY BOY! You're darn tootin' things didn't go my way. I wanted a fair fight, and to his credit, Penguino did give me a fair fight. You know, deep down, part of me is proud of the little guy. He was my boy, after all. Sal: Penguino's victory has to put him in line for title contention, but what's next for you, Duke? Duke: Wouldn't that be something? A World Heavyweight Championship match between a penguin and a woman? (Duke lets out a hardy laugh. Sal does his best to stifle his laughter) No, with the way things are going, I'm thinking maybe it's time for Duke to make like Arizona Chance and call it a career. Sal: Are you serious? Are you considering retirement? Duke: HECK NAW, SALLY BOY! Unlike Arizona, I'm not going to pack up and leave just because I lost a match. Sure, he lost to a woman. A WOMAN, SAL! But that's no reason to give up. I came out of retirement with a specific goal - the World Heavyweight Title. Sure, my two tag title reigns have been great and I wouldn't trade them for anything, but I want the top single prize. Sal: Some would argue that the J-1 Pinnacle is the top single prize, given that it's harder to win and only comes around once a year. Duke: CONSARNIT, SAL! I was just getting to that! Big Daddy Duke wants BOTH! Don't you think it's time Big Daddy Duke was a Triple Crown winner here in JWA? That's the goal going forward. That's ALWAYS been the goal. And I'm going to start next week. If I want a shot at the champ, I need to take down someone close to the champ. So “heartBROKEN” Mack Caliber I'm calling you out for a match! If you're not too busy washing Winter's bloomers and polishing Bruce's shoes, that is! Sal: Duke Mongoose vs. Mack Caliber next week? Sounds like a hell of a fight to me. Duke: Let's see if the sharp dressed man accepts. I doubt it. Go call your grandmother, Sal. This interview is over! (Duke strikes a double bicep pose and quickly slides out of the shot, as though he were standing on a dolly that was pulled by someone off camera) Sal: Will Mack Caliber accept? Let's send it back to ringside! |

Omega manages to keep up on his feet through the chops, getting backed up into the ropes. One last chop sent Omega toppling over the top rope, still holding onto Pierre's other arm. Pierre's dropped to a knee from his arm getting raked over the top rope. Tasha West begins the 5 count. Omega punctuates the incidental hold by smashing Pierre's arm into the ring post.
Beeman: That's champion level intellect. Troglo and Pierre may the size to get one up on Omega and Black Cat, but they don't have the speed or strategy to keep that advantage for long. So much of Pierre's offense is in his arms, take one of those out and he may still be hard to take down, but he's less able to take you down.
LeRay: How is any of this strategy? It's just been incidentals from Pierre having basically full control of this matchup so far.
Beeman: And yet Omega's the one on his feet while Pierre's not.
Omega gets back on the apron, delivering a number of kicks to Pierre's arm, crushing it between his hoof and the ring post. He goes and tag Black Cat in, and the Hardcore Champion looks to hit of the ropes for momentum for a move on Pierre. But Troglo sticks an arm out, nominally calling for a tag, but effectively clotheslining Black Cat.

The following post appeared on @tembleberrytheassistant DigiFoto live account moments after the Hex/Caine segment.
"Lord" Taylor Thorin is in a well furnished room, sat in a luxurious chair, snacking on fresh fruit as he watches JWA Gloryyy. Several people are there, casually watching the show and having discussions among themselves. Thorin turns to talk to someone by his side but stops as "God Save The Queen" starts to play on-screen. A hush falls over the room as Thorin gazes intently at the screen. He leans forward further as the segment goes on before throwing his plate down in disgust as it comes to an end.
THORIN: "TEMBLEBERRRYYYYYYYYY!"
The recording here goes off camera and we only get a view of Tembleberry's tunic, and the audio turns muffled.
THORIN: "Tell Whist......dium is a go bu.......lop is disgracing the good graces of the roy......be there is one final task to..."
The sound becomes unmuffled as Tembleberry raises the phone, the room breifly comes into view before the camera is switched and Tembleberry's face appears, before the feed ends as Tembleberry ends the broadcast.

*I reach for a tag and Troglo heartily tags in and I take a break while Troglo stalks Black Cat*
Troglo: ... You... puny... kitten... you talk too much... *he hurls Black Cat back into the ring and starts wrenching his legs*
Troglo: *roars as he's wrenching*
Huggy: GET EM!
Beeman: I hate it here...
LeRay: Huggy and I will gladly take your paycheck...

LeRay: Troglo's looking to slow down Black Cat, taking away the agility advantage.
Omega began fiddling with the turnbuckle pad, getting Tasha West's attention while Black Cat clawed at Troglo's face, the neanderthal screaming in pain.
Beeman: And that's why Omega and Black Cat have the advantage. That's the instinct to do whatever to win that Pierre and Troglo have thrown away over the years.
Huggy: Shut it Sean.
Beeman rolls his eyes. Black Cat's pace is slowed as he hits the ropes and delivers a knee to Troglo's face. He makes his way up to the top turnbuckle and goes for a Shooting Star Press. Pierre pulls him out of the ring as Black Cat lands awkwardly on his leg, avoiding landing flat smack on the mat. He tags in Omega and both men dive through the ropes, taking out the Killie's Crew.

*As Tasha starts counting Troglo and I shake the cobwebs out and nod at each other*
Beeman: What are those two planning... probably something stupid...
Huggy: Why don't you ask them...
*As Black Cat and Omega are planning their next move we get up and let out deafening roars*
Beeman: It's pure adrenaline for the idiots at this point...
*Black Cat goes to charge at Troglo and Omega tries to charge at me but we both get them into powerbomb positions*
Troglo: UPSY DAISY!!!!!!!!!
*We run towards each other causing Black Cat and Omega to collide and we get back in the ring and thump our chests*

Omega and Black Cat recover on the outside as Pierre and Troglo gloat in the ring.Huggy: That's what you get pussycat. Black Cat turned around to the announce table, grabbed Huggy and hopped the barricade. Troglo rushed out of the ring after him.
Beeman: Finally, someone does something about that stupid bear. LeRay: Someone get security or something, we've got a bear-napping. What about the match.
Beeman: It's ingenious, Troglo's the legal man, but Black Cat isn't. He can't get counted out, but Troglo can.
Omega chuckles as Pierre hesitates for a moment on whether to chase down Black Cat to help Troglo rescue Huggy, or to try and make sure Omega can't get back in the ring either.

Huggy: UNHAND ME YOU CUR!!!! *Huggy is flailing and is slowly breaking free*
Black Cat: Hey quit squirming you run off and I'm toast...
Huggy: BE TOAST THEN *he kicks Black Cat as he gets himself free and he stomps on Black Cat's bad leg*
Omega: *his face turns white as Huggy is rescued and Troglo is reunited with him.
Troglo: *puts Huggy on Mick's head while barely making the count*
Huggy: Hello down there
Mick: Hello up there
Troglo: *glares daggers at Omega* TROGLO... *he grabs Mr. Troglo from his loincloth and locks in the Larynx Grip while putting Omega in a piledriver position* SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!! *Omega lands back first and Troglo squeals as he pins him*
