I’m not one to dive… but here we go. I bounce off the ropes and hit a tope suicida on Duke as he gets up, blasting him into the barricade again. I check on Bruce (he’s OK), and pick up Duke above my head and drop him onto the barricade groin first. The fans actually cheer that one, but too little too late on that one.
I pick Duke up in the belly to back position, spin around and drop him on his back onto the padding with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Tough to wiggle out of it when you’re more concerned about the little Mongeese.
I pause to blow a kiss to a female fan, then steal a kid’s popcorn and dump it on Duke before I roll him back in. I roll in and give the signal for the Magnum Slug, but before I can grab him Duke trips me up, jumps onto my back and I’m in the Camel Clutch. I’m glad I have a strong back, but it still hurts like hell as I struggle to reach the ropes.

LeRay: Mack makes it to the ropes, and Jack LeBiggun starts the count. Duke isn't breaking the hold!
Beeman: He's getting revenge for the damage inflicted to his little Mongeese!
LeRay: The plural of Mongoose is Mongooses, not Mongeese, but I digress. It looks like Mack is going to use the ropes for leverage to power his way back to his feet!
Beeman: This is incredible! I can't believe what I'm seeing!
(Mack gets to his feet, much to the astonishment of everyone in the building. Especially the fans, but especially Duke. Mack runs backward into a corner, squashing Duke and forcing him to release the hold)
LeRay: What a feat by Caliber to escape Duke's Camel Clutch. That would probably work as an escape to the Cobra Clutch as well, which almost no one has escaped to date.
Beeman: Duke should change his last name to Menagerie with all these holds named after animals.
LeRay: Mack now charges at Duke in the corner, but Duke pulls himself up into a seated position on the top turnbuckle and gets a boot up and stops Mack in his tracks. Mack is staggered - Duke comes off the second rope with a flying back elbow!
Beeman: An Alabama Jaw Jacker, as I live and breathe!
LeRay: Mack is down and Duke goes for a cover!
*One...Two......

Beeman: What is this clown doing?
(Bruce The Butler has jumped up onto the apron and is attempting to get into the ring. Referee Jack LeBiggun halts his count and goes to prevent Bruce from entering the ring)
LeRay: Mongoose is furious!
Beeman: Can you blame him?
(Duke gets off of Mack and walks over to the referee and Bruce. Duke grabs Bruce by the lapels of his tuxedo jacket which causes the fans to erupt in cheers)
Beeman: Duke, be careful! You remember what happened the last time?
LeRay: Clearly Duke does remember, because as Mack attempted to blindside him, Duke sidestepped and Mack crashed into Bruce sending him into the front row!
Beeman: This place is electric!
LeRay: COBRA CLUTCH! Duke Mongoose has applied the Cobra Clutch and he drags Mack to the center of the ring!
Duke: CALL YOUR GRANDMOTHER! WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE ARIZONA CHANCE'S MOTHER! I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE LEGALITY OF YOUR ADOPTION! AND DOES THAT MAKE THE NIZ YOUR GRANDFATHER? YOUR GRAND-UNCLE?
LeRay: As Duke tries to comprehend the Caliber/Chance family tree, Mack Caliber has fallen unconscious and the referee has called for the bell.
Beeman: Was there ever any doubt?
LeRay: Yes. You said at the top that you couldn't decide between these two.
Beeman: I meant was there ever any doubt that everyone HATES Bruce The Butler? These fans loved it every time someone put a hurting on him!
LeRay: Give me a break. Duke Mongoose picks up a big win and moves one step closer to date with Winter Hex for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Beeman: One step closer to a match with her, too!
LeRay: WOULD YOU STOP?!?!

Omega: So this guy shows up against the Hunters of Artemis 4 months ago, gets spun out by Total Malarkey, then waltzes back in here as if he owns the place and will take us down? OOC: Is this match from 4 months ago something you've written in the past, when Thumper Moore III was an NPC? If so, did you approach Thumper's handler* about writing this into his character's canon now that he's an active player, and no longer a NPC? *Sorry, how do we address you in OOC now - I'm having disassociative disroder calling you Arizona! 😂 Forum ID is still “arizonachance”, so Zona is fine. So is Thumper, AZ, TM3, Thumpazona, or whatever works! |
