JWA Glory Episode 199 - Openweight Championship Match

[Penguino]

LeRay “Penguino is waiting now for Moore III to get up and now that he has The humanoid Penguin goes to a running dropkick.”

Beeman “But Thumper Moore slaps his feet out of the air, swatting Penguino like the fly he is.”

Thumper Moore grabs Penguino and throws him into the corner halfway across the ring

LeRay “Look at the strength from Thumper Moore just tossing Penguino like a basketball. Now Moore goes into the opposite corner he starts to sprints and just throws his body at Penguino. He’s like three times ‘Guinos weight that might have broken every single bone in his body.”

Beeman “Good then Domination Inc can put the belt on one of their shoulders.”

LeRay “You really have leveled down to the lowest you can go haven’t you.”

[“The Relentless” Conor Caine]

LeRay: Moore backs up after flattening Penguino and - uh-oh - we have a camera operator on the apron and he's bumped into Moore.
Beeman: Who the heck is that? The new guy?! Get off the apron, you bum!
LeRay: Thumper Moore, ever the chivalrous has forgiven the intrusion and is returning is attention to Penguino. The referee is currently checking on the Champion...

Suddenly the rookie camera man smashes Moore across the back of the head with the camera before dropping off the apron and running away.

LeRay: What the hell was that! Somebody stop that guy! Who is he?!
Beeman: He's still got the smashed up camera over his face - I can't see!
LeRay: You don't want to see, you mean! We all know who that is! Somebody stop him!!!

It's too late, the attacker has escaped through the curtain, leaving the referee in the ring with two downed competitors!

[Thumper Moore III]

OOC: Busy day at work. Penguino, thanks for picking up the slack and covering things! Well deserved win!

[Omega Satyros]

The camera settles on the roof top, seeing Omega kick it open. His fury is evident as he storms to the empty chair, he picks up the piece of paper.

"The Crimson Corsair sees your hunt. Perhaps I be at Mania, where you can't. If Conor's Tag Belt Pair be what you want. Then there be found a clue, amongst the plant."

Omega: Are you ******* kidding me?

Omega flips the paper over in sheer annoyance, and sees something written on the back.

You don't deserve to just be told where the belt is, if you want it, you will earn it. You have a week before you face me again If you haven't retrieved it, I'll have it then.

Omega shouts in frustration, kicking over the little tv stand, and nearly shoving over the camera man as he storms out.

[Artemis]

Sal: Lady Diana, your comments on what transpired with Artemis and Tembleberry's apparent alliance?

Diana: I don't understand it. Tembleberry has stood by Thorin's side through thick and thin, through good and bad, and considering some of what he's done for Thorin at points, made it out practically unscathed. What could Artemis have offered him to undo all of that?

Sal: Perhaps she didn't offer him anything. Perhaps this is the result of weeks of her shattering his psyche.

Diana: This ain't Stockholm, and Stockholm Syndrome has been debunked. She didn't break him down and force him to love her, she offered him something that he must think is worth saddling up with her, what that could possibly I have no idea. But, if Artemis and Tembleberry think themselves so smart, so high and mighty, then they can prove it. At Super Glory. Thorin's said he's been planning on wrapping up his time in the ring, so let's go out teaching those punks a lesson.

[Penguino]

LeRay “Thumper is down and looks like he’s out, Penguino lifts him to his feet bit can’t seem to get him off of the ground.”

Beeman “He is too weak to be worthy of Penguin Kai let me lead instead.”

LeRay “I don’t think you’re on top of Johnny’s list if Penguino leaves.”

Beeman “I bet you’re wrong.”

LeRay “Penguino has come up with a better idea and put Thumper Moore on the top rope and hooks his legs around, now he wrapped his arm around his shoulder and walks backwards. Thumper is stretched out in a suplex position and Penguino drops down, modified icebreaker.”

Beeman “Domination Inc win the match for Penguino and allow his to keep the belt.”

LeRay “I think you may be right for once Sean.”

[“The Relentless” Conor Caine]

Backstage, Toni is knocking, practically battering, on the door to the Quiet Room with some security around her. Eventually Comor Caine can be heard within.

CAINE (within): Okay! Okay! Hold up!

The door opens and Conor strolls out smiling, he almost glides he looks so laid back; he doesn’t stop to talk to Toni but keeps walking down the corridor, leaving Cruise at the door to the Quiet Room

CAINE: Don’t you get the meaning of Quiet room, Toni? I tell you what, it’s amazing what some peace and mindful reflection can do for the soul - I feel great!
CRUISE: You expect us to believe you were in there all evening meditating?
CAINE: Believe what you want Toni.
CRUISE: It smells a lot like salami and baby oil in there…
CAINE: What I do to relax is none of your business, catch you next week!

Conor strolls out of shot as the show fades.
