JWA World Heavyweight Championship Match - One Fall - 60 Minute Time Limit
"The Reminiscer" Winter Hex (c) vs. Duke Mongoose

[Duke Mongoose]

("Fatal Charm" by Billy Idol plays and Duke Mongoose struts his way to the ring as the song picks up. He is met with a smattering of cheers)

LeRay: A friendlier reaction from these fans than we're used to hearing for Duke.

Beeman: Seems like the people have decided he's the lesser of two evils.

LeRay: Who are you rooting for, Sean? You tend to favor both of these competitors.

Beeman: I'm rooting for the one who's a big Hollywood star.

LeRay: I should have guessed.

(Duke poses in the ring and makes a title belt gesture around his waist as he awaits the arrival of the champion and her entourage)

(sorry, bad sleeping schedule, no time for entrance, it's 1:17 am, I'll try my best)

Skipping entrance

The bell rings and the match is official. Winter has her first challenger, in Duke Mongoose. They lock up, Duke takes the early advantage and gets her in a headlock, Winter punches him in the gut a few times pulling them back into the ropes where she shoves him off the ropes into an international where She drops down, he jumps over her a few times. Winter gets up to go for a shoulder block but it seems Duke has a bit more power and took her down, they do another international and it seems like Winter stands up once again for another shoulder block but instead was intercepted by a bodyslam from Winter.

[Duke Mongoose]

LeRay: A hot start to this match, which Bruce the Butler and Mack Caliber approve of at ringside.

Beeman: That's "The Debonair" Mack Caliber.

LeRay: How could I forget. Winter has Duke backed into the corner and Referee Panther Haberdashery steps in between them to break it up - OH MY! A thumb to the eye from Duke!

Beeman: Did the referee see it? Then it doesn't count!

(Winter comically staggers back into the center of the ring, swinging blindly)

LeRay: These fans don't seem sure how to feel about that, but here comes Duke - Running Neckbreaker Drop! He goes for a cover!

*One...Two...Kickout*

Beeman: Bruce looks distraught. Mack almost keeled over after that one. Doesn't anyone think about Winter's entourage?

LeRay: Duke stays on the attack and lays into Winter with a series of Mongolian Chops. Now the Ionian Nerve Grip!

Beeman: How on Earth is Winter going to survive this assault? Why is this even allowed?

LeRay: She's the World Heavyweight Champion, Sean. This comes with the job. Winter is now stomping the mat trying to rally support from the fans, but the loudest support is still from Bruce and Mack.

Beeman: And me. Don't forget me!

(Winter manages to get to her feet and marches into the corner, with Duke still holding onto the nerve grip. Panther Haberdashery again tries to separate the two in the corner, and in doing so allows Winter to land a mule kick square in Duke's nethers)

LeRay: OH MY! Turnabout is fair play! Duke crumbles to the mat and now it appears Winter will have an opportunity to regain her composure.

[Duke Mongoose]

LeRay: Winter is calling for a chair and Bruce the Butler obliges. Panther Haberdashery steps in to issue a warning to our champion.

Beeman: Champion's advantage, Mick. If Winter wants to bludgeon Big Daddy Duke with the cold steel, she'll lose but retain the belt.

LeRay: Apparently Haberdashery is going to allow Winter to set the chair up in the ring for some reason. Winter grabs Duke and pulls him across her lap as she takes a seat. SHE'S SPANKING HIM!

Beeman: Would you listen to these fans? They've come unglued!

LeRay: Winter is issuing a receipt from last week's match on Glory, and Duke Mongoose certainly does NOT like it!

Beeman: Can we get a different camera angle? I can't stand to watch a grown man cry.

(Winter shoves Duke off her lap onto the mat, where he curls up into a fetal position with his thumb in his mouth. Winter gives a curtsy to the referee and hands the chair back to Bruce at ringside)

Beeman: What a class act our World Heavyweight Champion is.

LeRay: Winter tries for a cover, but Duke kicks out almost immediately. Winter doesn't look like she expected that.

Beeman: From the look on his face, I don't think Duke expected it either.

LeRay: Champion and Challenger, Winter and Duke, now stand across the ring from each other. What on Earth is going to happen next?

[Duke Mongoose]

(Winter gestures with her hand behind her back, which causes Bruce The Butler to jump up onto the apron, drawing the attention of the referee. At the same time, Mack Caliber sneaks into the ring behind Duke and grabs him in a full nelson)

LeRay: Would you look at this? Dirty underhanded tactics. We knew that Winter would have her Domination, Inc. cohorts involved in this match, but this is despicable.

Beeman: Does despicable mean brilliant? Because this is next level genius we're witnessing!

(Winter pulls out a small baggie from somewhere within her wrestling attire, and pours out a handful of her trademark powdered snow)

LeRay: Mongoose is a sitting duck! We've seen that powdered snow paralyze Winter's opponents in the past!

Beeman: Big Daddy Duke is generally a lone wolf, and tonight that's coming back to bite him in the-

(As Winter goes to blow the powdered snow into Duke's face, he manages to slip down free of Mack's full nelson at the last second, causing the snow to go directly into Mack's face instead)

LeRay: Dysfunction at the junction! Mack is blinded and staggering around the ring! Winter is all out of sorts!

Beeman: How did he? What just happened?

LeRay: Oh my! Mack just crashed into Bruce on the ring apron and they both go tumbling to the floor! Winter has rushed over to survey the damage.

Beeman: Duke's got that look in his eyes, Mick!

Duke: CALL YOUR GRANDMOTHER! THIS ONE'S OVER!

LeRay: Duke takes advantage of the distracted Winter and applies the Cobra Clutch! Winter is fighting with all of her might but they're in the center of the ring and Bruce and Mack are out of commission!

Beeman: Meanwhile Caine and Satyros have their match up next and can't get down here! OH NO!

LeRay: Winter has passed out! Panther Haberdashery calls for the bell! We've got a new World Heavyweight Champion!

Beeman: I never thought I'd be so conflicted about Duke Mongoose winning the big one, but here we are.

LeRay: I've never seen Duke happier, but I fear the celebration is going to be a short one once the rest of Domination, Inc. gets wind of what just happened here.

Beeman: All isn't lost yet. Caine & Satyros can still take home those tag titles.

LeRay: As Bruce the Butler and Mack Caliber enter the ring to tend to Winter, let's go to this video package showing you how we got to tonight's main event Texas Death Match...
