Anyone picked up the Slashmaster card with him holding the knife and the film rating? Cool looking card, but it's also bad like the one I already have, one fewer point in all four categories, and only useable from 85-89 as opposed to the others 80-89. Seems like a waste of $100K. no wonder he died |

Found another in the same vein as Slashmaster: (bad) Undermaster...hold off for the tweener one. It costs twice as much, but you're not confined to being bad, have it active for longer and it has better stats.

Most managers. Unless I have someone ideal for them to manage (Mort Ishin + Undermaster for example), give +2 skill, or I like the parody a lot (Prof. Gigawatt), I ignore them despite them showing up in the shop constantly. They're just too expensive and don't offer 100k worth of value once you have a couple of them.
Same goes for the various Push cards. I'll eventually buy them all, but I'm saving my tokens and cash for when main eventers or legendaries pop up.

I also tend to avoid getting managers and bigger foil cards at the moment. I got a few in preparation for when I reach the 90s, but until then Im ok with the few I have so far. Plus that 100k price tag is kinda rough 😬. The fact that some of them have the same exact stats and price, just one lasts for only the 80s but the other one during both 80s and 90s is maddening.
As for wrestlers, I tend to avoid Killer Klown and 90s Juan Tihuana. One is a friggin clown (despite the fact I like Doink) with kinda of an annoying voice. (I swear I got him in 4 store rotarions IN A ROW. NO GAME! NOO!). The other is, an overpriced OPENER for 10k... and not a very good one too. I have the 80s one and he just flat out refuses to upgrade his skill. Sorry but no.

Sumo San is awesome. Jupiter is awesome. Glam is awesome. The only cards I won't buy: foils, unless I have to. There isn't a character in the game I absolutely despise. I know people don't like Moolah (I sure don't) but I consider Almighty Dolla to be different. They pay homage to the fact she was a long-time champ. Not the fact that she was an awful person. Dude Brohan is also not Hulk Hogan. Etc, etc. MC Frosty might be the only person I truly feel zero for, but that'll change once I give him a storyline. Then I'll be fine with him. My store as of late seems to be literally nothing but mid-to-upper card foils, they begin at 40,000 and I know I've not got the whole roster, so what gives? They're so expensive and, ugh. I definitely buy the ones I like first and reluctantly follow up with those I need to complete the set |
