With this year's J-1 tournament having the most participants ever, I've run into a bit of a scheduling issue. As it stands, the tournament is going to run all of November and almost all of December. The issue I have is deciding when to have certain events. Please chime in with the poll and sound off below.
Option 1: Have the J-1 Finals the week of Christmas without a break, and hold the Jammies on the week of New Year's.
Option 2: Take a break between the last round of the J-1 and the Finals and use the week of Christmas to have the Jammies.
Also, due to the holidays, these two episodes of Glory might be happening on Monday/Tuesday instead of the usual Tuesday/Wednesday.

I assume that you’ve got 12 participants which leads to a six week tourney (five round robin weeks plus the finals). A couple of alternative solutions which I do not prefer:
A five week tourney. Three blocks of four competitors with the winners of each block plus the top second place points getter advance to semis, winners have the finals.
A four week tourney with three blocks of four, winners meet in a triple threat finale.
Honestly, I’d prefer the full format. More unique matchups, more chance for both inanity and greatness.

Why don't you do the following: the end of the tournament is in the Christmas programming so that if necessary you have two days of programming, one that is the final of the tournament and the other that is on Christmas for the title or a Christmas-themed fight as in the wwe

I'd prefer option 2 because I assume most of us will be less active over the week of Christmas due to things like travelling and the general festive hustle and bustle, so it's less of a risk of a participant in the final going M.I.A, though I suppose the same could also be true for the week of new years. It also builds a little bit of hype for the final having that week break in there. However I would be completely happy with either.
