Rogers enters to his familiar theme, continuing to single handedly expand the audience of Gilbert and Sullivan into pro wrestling homes.
He makes his way to the ring, still favoring his ankle from last week’s match against Burl, then he sees Pierre and stops. His longtime friend truly is enormous. Rogers doesn’t quite reach the big guy’s armpits. They stare down for a minute, and turn to acknowledge the crowd splitting their chants between Ro-gers, Ro-gers; and Pi-erre, Pi-erre!!
Pierre lifts a paw. Rogers bows. Then they face off, hear the bell and Rogers evades a tie up to grab Pierre around the waist.

As Pierre steps up to Rogers, the Pirate kips up. Pierre swings a big forearm in an overhead chop, but Rogers blocks it and tries to twist it into a hammerlock.
He almost has it when Pierre laughs and counters it with a whip into the corner. Red slams into the turnbuckle and Pierre advances again.

Rogers slumps arms draped over the second rope. Pierre backs up and decides to run in again.
But as he runs in the Crimson Corsair, drops down and rolls under the bottom rope leaving Pierre to hit the corner alone. The ring staggers and so does the enormous one. Rogers vaults up to the top turnbuckle but lands on his bad ankle and pauses to clutch at it.
In the moments pause, Pierre has regained his balance and when Rogers jumps into a cross body, Pierre catches him and hits a fall away slam.

It's a surprisingly long tumble even from just Pierre's tree trunk legs, and Red scrambles to the bottom rope and clutches it. Pierre comes over and leans down like an owner asking a pet terrier why it's so worried. With a big laugh, he lifts a foot to stomp and Rogers lets go again and rolls into the middle of the ring. Quickly pushing up to stand, Pierre advances and Rogers begins to run until Pierre's chasing him like an old cartoon.
The fans boo. Beeman insults Red. Then people notice, Pierre isn't chasing Red, Red is chasing Pierre and gaining fast. Pierre suddenly stops, and Rogers jumps with a single foot springboard on to Pierre's back where he quickly slaps on a sleeper hold in homage to their old adventures filming "The Damsel's Wedding". The fans cheer. Beeman insults Red again.

As if Pierre’s massive size wasn’t painful enough, Rogers also manages to get his right foot caught on the top rope. Twisting painfully into a tree of woe, as Pierre struggles to catch his breath.

*I catch my breath then I free Red's foot from the Tree of Woe then drag him to the middle of the ring and finally drop an elbow on his chest and pin him*
One... two... three...
