Been wondering wether, if you had a feud card for 2 wrestlers, and also for the 2 wrestlers you had there foil card, wether you would be better off using the feud card or the 2 foil cards...
I havent got enough foil cards to test this mysef, so am putting it out there to see if anyone else has tested this....

Foil can add up to 3 to skill. This will give a higher ceiling for performance.
A Feud is an extra star added to the match guaranteed if the descriptions on the cards are accurate.
Math says that since you typically need 4-5 points for an extra star, the feud cards beat the foils, in general.

I actually have done the math for this. This is what you would need to know. The system takes the total number of cheers and boos that you get (along with any extra flavor bonuses minus the feud), and then divides it by the number of wrestlers on the show. It then compares the details to this chart.
0*: 0-2 1*: 3-6 2*: 7-9 3*: 10-14 4*: 15-19 5*: 20+
Then, it will add the bonus star for the feud, unless the match is already 5 stars. For 2 wrestlers feuding, they will get 3 extra points each, going up to 6 from the regular.
Let's suppose each wrestler has 10 skill (like a vanilla feud). It will add 3 skill to both, making it 26 (on the best possible roll). Afterwards, it will add the Good vs Bad bonus (if the feud is good vs bad), putting it up to 27. Then, after that, the division by 2 happens, making it 13.5, which rounds up to 14. Since the number is 14, the match would be 3 stars.
On the same spectrum, let's say that you use the non-foil cards, but you use the feud card. It will be 20, then we add the Good VS Bad, making it 21. Then we divide by 2, giving us 10.5, which rounds up to 11. This is still 3 stars. However, with the feud card, it will add 1 extra star, making it a 4 star match, of course depending on the perfect roll.
In that case, using the feud is better. More often than not, using the feud card for 2 particular wrestlers (especially if the feud itself adds 2 stars) is better than using the foil versions. Use the foils only if you aim to have matches that have nothing to do with feuds or anything of the sort, and remember that you can not unlock merch cards with foil wrestlers.

Thanks for expanding on my generalities Myst. Your example is spot on.
