Wouldn't mind also seeing some announcers get thrown in. Like Gorilla, Ventura, Hayes, etc. For example, if you're booking a big PPV, you can use better announcers to maybe boost ratings and/or drawing power, but if you were booking one of the weekly shows, you can use lesser announcers for cheaper. I think that would be cool, too.

Definitely agree with more stats, here are a few ideas:

- Title history for each wrestler/card, so you can choose a wrestler and see each of their title reigns and awards listed

- Have cards be interchangeable for the same wrestler, so if O’Hooligan is my TV champ, I could use either his foil or regular card and he’s still the champ. Maybe even different personas, so I could also use Rod Nada as TV champ

- Stats for venues, like title changes and number of times building has sold out

- Ability to edit cards, so you can rename wrestlers, events and titles

- Hall of Fame, either user manually selects one wrestler per year, or the system auto selects wrestlers to be inducted based on win-loss records and title reigns. Maybe this isn’t an annual thing, twice over the life of the game might be good, once at the end of 1989 and once at the end of 1999 (only retired wrestlers are eligible)

- Top 5 ranking for each division updated monthly

I cannot count the amount of times that I book a match, then say, “Wait, which member of Howl and Roar did I put against which member of Shop of Horrors in the last show? I want to make sure I do the opposite this week.” Go back out, check what you did last week, go back in, and it should be as you left it.

An online version of this game would be neat

- Trade cards with other players

- Run different feds in the same world (everyone would have to run their shows within the same time frame, maybe complete one month’s worth of shows per week, if someone doesn’t complete their shows on time the system will auto fill and run the shows to keep things moving along for everyone)

- Compete for higher ratings

- Wrestler/manager cards can only be active in one fed at a time, with the exception of some mid card journeymen

- Each world would only have 3-5 players, allowing everyone to have a decent roster

- Once or twice a year there is a joint PPV card with all the feds

What about using feud cards for run-ins in the same way that tag team partners are used as managers?

I had a shower thought.

Two different game modes -

CLASSIC - Literally 8MWR right now

MODERN - Has a SvR GM Mode feel to it. Have a draft between 3 different brands, set up rivalries, have contracts, do trades etc. and try to be GM of the year.

If you really want to, you could add other modes like the 'Sandbox' mode someone previously suggested or even a 'Retro' mode, which is pretty much 8MW without the updates.

But that's just a thought...

  marcos-  Try Bluestacks.com.  They have a program that allows you to play phone apps on a PC.  The original 80s Mania worked on it, but I haven't tried Returns. 

To your point, an online supported version would absolutely be a good thing.

Any way they can incorporate elements of wrestling promoter sims would be great, like the old Extreme Warfare Revenge and TEW. At the end of the day this app is a promoter sim, so the more that can be incorporated the better. Adding elements of strategy would totally change the world this app lives in.
