I never get why people post questions like this when they can just message mr.fantasy especially this guy Half the fun for some of us analytical personality types is hypothesizing and testing the hypothesis. I for one like figuring out the answer rather than just asking for the answer because I learn things and become stronger in my deductive reasoning through the process. There also may be some things Mr. Fantasy wants to remain a mystery.

This time, I don't have a solid answer for this. In fact, I have legitimate questions. All the evidence I have is what's been addressed as of now to me. "The higher the Skill, the harder it is to level up the Skill stat." - To that, it makes me wonder, how does a 5 Skill lady wrestler still fail to level up once and some wrestlers be one skill point away from merch only for it to not happen for years on end? I have several things that I'm hoping either Mr. Fantasy or someone else can explain to me. 1. If a wrestler is put into matches weekly, does it increase or decrease the chance of that wrestler's skill leveling up? 2. Why is it that Pop and Mic give points easily, but Skill does not? 3. Does putting wrestlers in specific match types (like putting a Loner in a Weapons Match) increase the odds of the skill increase? 4. Do injuries cause the likelyhood of a level up to decrease when cleared with money? 5. The big thing is, what is the percent rate of the Skill stat increasing from 1 to 19 if the wrestler is at the prime condition for this to happen? I have so many questions to how this works, because I've had wrestlers stuck at certain points in the game for so many in game years, that it's starting to be a problem for me to understand. I need answers to this, and I feel like so many others do as well. Please help... 1. Increase. If a wrestler isn't involved in a segment, they cannot improve their stats. 2. Primarily because the actual formulas are different. Please note that just because SKILL/POP/MIC stats all display on a card back with equal prominence (and cumulatively make up TOTAL DRAW), doesn't mean they're unilaterally treated the "same" on the back end (or front end, for that matter). They are presented through different cards, have different involvements (a MIC SPOT can have one singular wrestler whereas a match has at least two for example), different wrestler types have different bonuses when synced (see: Bigmouth and Showman having automatic success rate in many MIC SPOT scenarios where as even a highly SKILLED wrestler can end up in a 1* match), and so on. In addition, we prefer the game to emulate a situation where it's more likely a wrestler learns how to be a "better talker" easier than he learns how to be a "better wrestler," hence our decision to create formulas representative of this. 3. Yes, as +1 bumps are acquired based on a formula that factors in Match rating, and syncing a wrestler type to match type helps with Match rating. 4. No. 5. Tough to exactly follow this question, but there's no chart of flat percentage chances of +1 stat bumps occurring. As we always say, it is a formula. And the formula applies uniquely to every segment you book. Loosely: Take Wrestler X SKILL vs Wrestler Y SKILL, the differences between their SKILLS, a factor of the Match Rating (which in turn can be affected by things like Managers, Match Types, Wrestler Types, etc), and always remember that EVERY formula in the game has an element of RNG (random number generation). We hope this answers at least some of the curiosity and concerns that people have regarding +1 stat bumps. And we offer apologies for any frustrations while playing our game! All in all, we sincerely hope people enjoy the overall experience without the expectation that we lay out our ever evolving proprietary design documents for people to publicly dissect (because that ain't happening ) One final note on this topic... there have been considerations for a future update to include a PROMOTE button on SKILL/MIC/POP stats (as we have with PUSH) for premium players who don't want to spend the time on leveling up.

Nor should we expect you to lay everything out. You and your team have worked hard to create your own IP and it would be silly for anyone to expect you to divulge proprietary info, formulas, or algorithms. Thanks a bunch for explaining what you could.
But I can’t resist— Im interpreting from your answer that if you take a wrestler with a lower skill and put him/her in a match with a higher skilled wrestler, the lower skill wrestler has a greater chance of gaining a +1 to their skill. Or, is it the CLOSER they are in skill level? I guess I’ll just have to experiment!

I’ve got a handful of wrestlers (primarily Devin Van Winkle and Glam), who have been stuck on needing one more point in skill to max them out. No matter who I’ll put them in the ring with, they just don’t get that extra point.
