Thumper Moore III and Smash like this

Hey everybody, I'm back again to give an idea that when used, can make shows a lot better in the long run, and it is something that I have mentioned several times throughout my time doing this guide. That, is the notion that quality is more important than quantity. I will give examples (maybe with a comedic twist) as to how to use the notion of quality over quantity for starting players and veteran players alike. For reference, I will be using cards that everyone can get at the start of the game (including Talent Infusions and Cheat Codes).
1. You have a big June P4V coming up, known as the Tag Team Invitational. A tournament where 8 teams compete in a Single Elimination Tournament to determine the best tag team. The Adventurers, Metalheads, Neon Express, Insectoids, Keith Blood and Skullgore..... The Piranha and Pelvis Pressly... Zen and Michael T. Wolf... Star Boy and... Pat.. Cabbage? Okay, this is getting out of hand! Who decided having Star Boy and Pat Cabbage as a team was a good idea!? Oh, we're having a World Title match with Dr. B and Rad Racer? (Cut away)
Okay, so, you kinda catch the drift here. This might force you to use the worst wrestlers in your arsenal, and that brings down the star power and the potential match ratings. Meanwhile, if the regular P4V was chosen, we could have had the Neon Express defend the Tag Team titles against Metalheads, a Ladies title match, and maybe even a World title match between Dr. B and Arizona Chance. We're not forcing ourselves to use bad wrestlers just for the sake of a grand tournament.
2. You recently bought the Music Video promo in the shop, and you want Pelvis Pressly to shake and groove his stuff, wait... what are you doing? STOP! Don't put Johnny Kobra, Tennis Pro, and random Bad Wrestlers in there! You're making it worse! Just put in Pelvis with Ryan Regret, and this will be a 4 star segment. That, or maybe just have Arizona Chance cut a Dramatic Promo by himself. Just, don't bloat it up just to have more guys.
3. Alright, we got 25 wrestlers and $100,000, now we can buy a slot for our Sunday Night Slam event, and I am pumped to book ourselves a... 3 v 3 Tag!? Okay, well, if we put Star Boy and The Piranha on opposite sides, maybe this can... wait, Rad Racer, Pat Cabbage, and Star Boy VS The Piranha, Johnny Kobra, and Tennis Pro? Well, um... go ahead.. if that's what you want... I think a regular 1 v 1 would have been better or maybe a tag with just one guy instead of a 3 on 3 right now.
Okay, so, those are just some examples, but all of them have something in common. All of them added unnecessary things just to fill the show, and that brings it all down to the ground faster than the average Tennis Pro match in game. But now, I want to showcase a positive example of this notion, and a show we can do using his exact formula using the cards we have, to likely get a 3 star show.

This is an amazing showcase of getting a 5 star show, and he only uses (get this) 10 wrestlers. Not 15, not 20, but 10. He also uses feud cards to increase his star rating for matches while using Cheap Pop and Shoot to get a 5 star promo and 5 star skit. This allows him to make a show that has 5 stars written on it when successful. With great planning, a good star rating is possible. In fact, let's make a 3 star or better show now using the cards we have, using the exact same lineup as his show. For reference, here's what we have.
Skit
Tag Match
Midcard Only
Promo
1v1
So, for our skit, we're going to have Arizona Chance cut a Dramatic Promo, but we're not going to add anything else to it. He can get a 4 star Dramatic Promo automatically when maxed, so nothing will need to be done there.
For our Tag Team match, we're going to have Michael T. Wolf and Chet Skye on one side, and Keith Blood and Skullgore on the other. While we don't have any complete tag teams, we'll be able to use "Monster Mash", a feud card that grants us a star guaranteed. And given how these wrestlers are, this is the makings of a 2 to 3 star match on its own, making it all but certain we'll get a good rating for this one.
Next up, our Mid-Card bout will have Star Boy take on The Piranha. A Feud is This will be active in this matchup and the two of them have a combined skill of 25 on their own, making it very possible to get a 3 star match with the feud in tact.
Next, we need a promo. We'll use Pelvis Pressly for this promo, and we can either have him interviewed by Honest Al or just have Pelvis brag, either way, he will cap out at 14 (with the Showman bonus), which is not enough for a 4 star. However, we have Ryan Regret on our side, so we can use him to get an extra point, which is exactly what we need for a 4 star to happen.
Finally, our Main Event. We'll have Dr. B take on Zen. Dr. B will be accompanied by Big Boss Jr. and Zen will be accompanied by Mr. Bonsai. They can reach a 25 on their own just like Star Boy and the Piranha, but without a feud, they don't have a safety net in case they do bad. However, these are the best wrestlers we have for now, and we're going to roll with it.
In the end, we should get a 3 star show on average with this card, you get money, and everyone goes home happy. This is the power of quality, over quantity. With that said, try this out in your own games and see how much of a difference this can make in your purchasing decisions, your booking, and even how you play 80s Mania Wrestling. This is MystMotone101, and this has been, the Tennis Pro's worst nightmare.
